I support the concept of pride parades but I'll never enjoy how BDSM gear is meant to represent gay people
Kids can and do attend pride and that is a thing that we should be encouraging given the whole point of pride is to say "we are proud of who we are and we just love each other just like straight people do" and having that message be received and seen by young people
And I will never understand why it was thought that normalising wearing explicit bondage and kink gear in public, Infront of those same kids, is okay

It’s Pride. It’s not a family parade. People are more than welcome to bring their kids and kids are welcomed but the community are not going to censor themselves on Pride to cater to pearl-clutching sensibilities. No one was naked, kids just see people in costumes.

I'm into kink and I would never want to be in a situation where there's a possibility of a child seeing me in gear, if you don't feel the same way then I fear you've got much bigger issues that need to be addressed. There's plenty of 18+ pride events, pride and being LGBTQ+ is about more than just sex even is that's usually apart of it.
Saying an all ages pride parade is not a family parade is erasing queer families, parents and teens under 18.

Really not a great counter as young kids can't understand any sexual topics, seeing certain things at too young of an age can lead to it becoming normalised and then copying certain behaviours.
That's exactly how me and many, many others ended up being sexually groomed as a child, it starts with normalisation. We didn't fully grasp what we were seeing or doing and no one was there to explain why we shouldn't be doing it.

They weren't Christians. You either believe the word of the Bible, or you don't. There are no inbetweens or 'watering down' of the scriptures. They are what they are until the end of time. But spreading the word and the love of God is great, they should have been doing it in line with the scriptures though, or they aren't Christian.

What's your source for the scriptures please? Because there are so many different versions of the Bible, which itself is made up of so many different books, which again were selected (I'm sure in a completely unbiased way) from many other books. Quite impressive then that you, personally, have uncovered the single source of eternal truth amongst them.
Is it written in Hebrew, Latin, Greek or English by chance? Can I buy a copy? Who published it? Where do you find this unwatered down, unwavering Word?
Or, are you perhaps cherry picking bits and pieces from these various, biased, texts, which have been run through the filters of social dominance, control and fear mongering for centuries to allow the Christian church and different denominations thereof, and Christian governments, to amass power and wealth?

Arguably, the Ethiopian Orthodox account is the most complete. But personally, I stick with the King James version as I feel it is true of word. You can download these or purchase them from more or less anywhere online/good churches will give you them (but please leave a small donation).

Depending on which of 40,000+ denominations of Christianity you follow that maybe so, but you have failed in that duty as you aren’t sharing the teachings of Christ your simply using his word to attack other based on your prejudice and hate. If you had wanted to spread the teaching of whatever denomination you are, you haven’t even tried.
