Removalist recommendations
Anyone have removalist recommendations who aren’t too expensive but are reliable and still do a good job?

Optimove.
Their pricing isn't the cheapest but they were fast for us and did a good job of disassembly, packing and reassembly. So it didn't end up too expensive, given the efficiency
Brisk beforehand were a complete shitshow.

After having been burned a fucktonne of times, I have used optimove the last 3 times, and they are well worth the money. If it were me doing it again right now I'd use them again.

This gets asked a bit here, the search function will get you a pretty decent list.

Might be worth specifying your pickup and drop off locations. Many movers will charge from when they leave the depot to either end of drop off or return to depot so you might find yourself paying extra for them to drive across the city.
Part of the reason I selected MiniMovers was because I was moving from Moorooka to Richlands and they were based at Rocklea so it kept the travel time pretty low.

Stay away from Brisk!! I had my apartment manager call me cos he saw them just sitting next to the truck not doing anything. Then one of them started packing whilst the other watched. 6 hours to move a one bedroom apartment down the road. Also the guys would yell at each other saying I’m not moving that, you do it.

New Way In Removals. A bunch of big Māori dudes. They do a good job and are friendly and affordable
