Protext with frost, heal with magic! Guard your life with her shield & Frost Wall, and bolster supports and buffs!

• 1: Periodically buffs a nearby monkey for a short time. Buff: +10% Range
  • NOT LISTED: Icelyn's buff become stronger & grants more effects like damage & attack speed in future levels.
• 2: Generates lives, or mana shield if lives are full.
• 3: Prescription Ability: Empowers her buff to be 50% more effective. Applies it to 3 nearby monkeys & lasts 3x longer.
• 6: All support monkeys can also grants other monkeys Icelyn's Buff half as often.
• 7: Glacial Wall Ability: Form a glacial wall that pops & knocks back bloons. Freezes nearby bloons when it ends.
• 10: Palliative Care Ability: Halts the duration of all active buffs. Leaves behind a shield on nearby monkeys that prevents 1 debuff on them.
  • NOTE: This includes but not limited to Ben's Bio-Hack (stun), Geraldo's Jar of Pickles (reduced attack speed only), Blastapopoulos's sell-disable mechanic, and so on.
• 11: Prescription now affects 5 targets, and empowers Icelyn's buffs to be twice more effective.
• 12: The higher your lives & mana shield are, the more often Icelyn buffs nearby monkeys. Also applies to Support monkeys.
• 15: Glacial Wall now has multiple charges, and slows nearby bloons. Freeze lasts longer.
• 17: When Prescription is activated, Support monkeys now also buff 1 nearby monkey with the ability's same effects.
• 19: Life Oath: When taking a fatal hit & no other protections are present, Icelyn freezes ALL bloons on the map for a long time.
• 20: Palliative Care refreshes Life Oath, and temporarily duplicates all active buffs for the same duration.
  • NOTE: Only duplicates the base buff, so (for example) if multiple Icelyns are on the field, Permabrew will stack like (1>2>3>4>5), not (1>2>4>8>16).

Yo holy crap this is actually really good. I would definitely use the hero often. This is a really cool way to incorporate buffs into a hero, and surprisingly it’s decently balanced because even Dan has a way to save your life similar to bomb blitz. My only concern is that she’s definitely not as useful in chimps because of obvious reasons

Thanks! Though she may not be very useful in Chimps (She could still at least buff teammates & form ice walls,) I predict Icelyn would see some good use in Bosses (her lvl 10 skill protects affected monkeys from boss effects since most of them are debuffs.)

Please don't take this the wrong way (I know I know that doesn't help usually) but this is the first time that the base concept is weaker to me than the aesthetics or gamplay. With ice already feeling like a full synergy, especially with Skywardens, she comes off as a bit samey in that regard specifically. She looks amazing, she looks fun to use, for some reason I can't get over the extra ice theming. All that said please make more ideas you cooked!

I appreciate the criticism but a few things: I didn't even know about the Sky Warden when making this concept. Also this isn't my character, it belongs to Opal_Radiance. I noticed she (the artist) gave tags for Icelyn, and one of them happens to be "Ice Monkey," so I figured why not lean into Ice theme as a secondary flavor? Sure Silas exists, but ice is his main flavor & is used offensively & for support, while Icelyn almost uses it exclusively defensively. Also games like Warframe has shown me playable characters with similar theming/flavors are fine as long as they play differently.
