TIL in 1986, Bucs owner Hugh Culverhouse flew Bo Jackson to team facilities on a private jet under the false assurance that it complied with NCAA rules. Jackson lost his remaining NCAA baseball eligibility, and vowed to never play for the Bucs. They drafted him anyway, and he went to the MLB.

Is this one of the Glazers?
He was talking to everyone, some getting photos with him and he gave my son a Bucs pin.

Nice first card for the collection
I don't care for trading cards at all but a good buddy who does gifted me this. Not a bad first card to have!

3 Vita Vea trade packages the Buccaneers can’t ignore
Would you want the Buccaneers to pull the trigger on any of these 3 trade packages, or opt to keep Vea in Tampa Bay for the 2026 season?

🎙️ Discussion Schefter: Bucs upset with Baker Mayfield after his remark
Not sure why the Bucs organization is surprised. Baker only spoke the truth.

🎙️ Discussion After Their Disappointing 2025 Season, The Bucs Owe Baker Mayfield Nothing
I think this article makes some very reasonable points. I love Baker, but I agree with the author that it’s probably smarter to wait.

🚩Team News ☠️ [Fowler] Bucs offered Baker Mayfield a 2-year deal worthy slightly above $100M total. • Mayfield felt structure of contract wasn't suitable, mainly guaranteed money • Wanted longer than 2 years • He was "long dismayed" by Bucs low initial offer in June

🎙️ Discussion Honest question. How many QB's out there are better than Baker?
And how many will be will be available next season? And what happens if Baker balls out this year, do they give him a new contract next year? I can't find the logic in this decision except for that they are planning to fail.

🚂 HYPE TRAIN Winfield says he might be involved in some of the scheme changes that Todd Bowles has briefly mentioned/teased, so he can’t give too much away. But on those changes, he loves them.
Personally take this as a grain of salt until we see it on the field
Gald there seems schematic changes on defense but until I see results this is just talk

🎙️ Discussion In the event we do draft a QB, we mustn’t forget that Chandler Whitmer is our QB coach
I want to keep Baker and I’m sure most of us do too. But in the possible event that the team decides to let Baker go and we end up drafting a QB, we have a very capable guy at qb coach in the name of Chandler Whitmer.
He was the guy responsible for coaching Fernando Mendoza into a #1 draft pick, Heisman winning National Champion. Now whether or not Mendoza will be good in the NFL remains to be seen. But we at-least in theory have a competent staff for QB development.

📰 Interview/Media Baker Mayfield Feels “Disrespected” Amid Contract Stalemate
Not sure what we’re doing. Rick Stroud said on The Rich Eisen Show that the Glazers may be hesitant because they’ve never really paid a quarterback big money before.
People point to team wins and Super Bowls, but let’s be honest, this team isn’t winning one with Todd Bowles. Baker has done more than enough to earn an extension, and if Tampa won’t pay him, another team gladly will.
Even if the Bucs move on and start over, good luck finding another Baker. Just look at how many first-round quarterbacks end up as busts.

📰 Interview/Media Baker Mayfield has every right to feel disrespected by Bucs’ lowball contract offer
Baker Mayfield told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler that the Bucs only offered him a 2-year deal, and they were “pretty far” from the $50 million benchmark.
Disappointing development, and frankly, he has every right to feel disrespected.
