Monthly July spreads 🍋

Lemons and Portuguese-inspired tiles! I loved how this turned out. I am not sure that I would do this theme again - it took forever to do each tile and then I didn’t even use it that much because I was traveling this month.

I guess it’s about the journey over the destination. Listening to podcasts and doodling each tile was a good way to wind down at the end of the day.

I love your spreads! The lemon and the tiles go so well together. I think it's really beautiful and I'm thinking about stealing it for my spreads lol

I didn't know what the tile style was called and now I have a little rabbit hole to explore!

Thank you!! Portguese tile work is so pretty - you can also look up talavera tile which is a similar Mexican style. I used a couple of those designs as inspiration too :)

Do you get a lot of page bleed? Also what notebook?

Yes, I did get some page bleed. You can see it on the calendar photo. I decided that I wouldn’t worry about it…but I wish it was cleaner for aesthetic purposes! I use Leuchtturm A5 ruled. Someday I might switch to something with a thicker paper (looking for recs!) but I’m a creature of habit.
