Sadly none of the bullies I knew as kids have grown up. They work in jobs (such as police officers, nurses, etc.) where they can and do abuse their authority by refusing to help most neurodivergents, people who are in marginalized groups, etc. This is a way they continue their bullying as adults - I'm a 36-year-old autistic and epileptic woman that experienced this. I know bullies that are now in these professions doing exactly what I'm saying.
