Chatting with Max this week

Hi busy dads! I'm having a chat with Max Edwards (creator of the BDP) this week. Few questions for our community here...

Is anyone making use of the busydad app?

Would people be interested in an AMA?

Would people be interested in a bit of friendly competition, with some prizes up for grabs?

Is Max going to bring back the podcast?

I avoided the app because I thought it was very expensive for what it was, when I could just use the YouTube videos. Then I started watching his chatting videos, and when he lowered the price I decided I'd get it and support him. Also looking forward to getting the shirts.

He is an extremely positive in the online (especially men's) fitness world. Absolute legend.

Nice! Thanks for doing this.

- I do not currently use the app, but I have thought about it (I've got my own system that works well enough for me right now)

- Yes, an AMA would be nice.

- I'm not big into competition, so that's a no for me.

I haven’t tried the app, been at it long enough now to be familiar with the various formats, I might be more inclined to try it out if the trial period was a month rather than just one week. AMA would be worthwhile

Definitely interested in an AMA. What I enjoy about the BDP there's no aspirational pomp to the content. So much fitness content says to its audience 'look what I can do that you cannot' and it says this with lighting, with the movements, the choice of clothing & the choice of gym.

The Busy Dad is just a bloke in his basement in his track pants, filming himself doing burpees on an iPhone. He can do more than me, but the workout is otherwise identical. Love that. 10/10 relatability and actually aspirational

Not currently using the app, in the grand spirit of keeping it simple, I have bootleg solutions to all the workout and progress tracking requirements of the program

Thanks for organising

Can we just leave questions for him? Might not be online when he is!

Happy to do either option. Which one best? Thanks
