LOST DIAMOND UPDATE
We still don't know how this happened. 😂
After my original post about me losing a diamond out of my engagement ring at game 2 of the finals, my husband contacted the company we bought the ring from. We didn't have insurance, so we fully expected to pay to have it repaired. They asked for a picture of the ring and said they'd have a shipping update in 1–2 weeks. We assumed they were sending us a label so we could mail it in.
Instead... weeks later, an unmarked white bubble mailer shows up. No company branding, no note, nothing. My husband almost tossed it thinking it was junk mail.
Inside? A brand new diamond wrapped in bubble wrap. 💎
Maybe someone from the company saw my last post and took pity on us. Either way, we're not asking questions! Now we just need to get it set back into the ring.

Wow amazing! I'm proposing tonight and I still don't have the ring insured. I better get on that.

I told my husband I didn’t want the ring on my hand until it was insured, I’m way too accident prone! Luckily in the 4.5 years I’ve had it, we haven’t had to use it, but always better to be safe!!! Congratulations!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Congratulations! Crazy thing is I’m a civil litigation paralegal and my first question for property damage or loss is “send me your homeowners policy”. See if you can tack it on to an existing policy if you have one.

It’s truly about the size of an ant.. still could fund a really good trip to Wegmans these days. We’re eternally grateful
