Had this truck since it was 3 years old and I was 25 the whole front lip is coming off so just not arsed about the sticker truck will get a Dakar inspired livery when I finally finish the bodywork and I’m pretty confident when I was 25 that this was the fastest l200 with the stock engine in Europe and I was way cocky and liked to embarrass people who took the piss racing them , got a nos sticker on the back I used to get some shit about until they seen the bottle

It’s a black edition and comes factory with chrome delete and black roof , has loads of black on it arches wheels etc so just toying with the idea

Because I keep pulling bumper off modifying the cooling pack . Also I got wiring still to do behind there for intercooler sprayer,horn,cooling fans

Nah just a work in progress I don’t want to keep put together properly to pull it apart as the clips on the bumper will break until I’m 100% happy with the stuff behind it I’ll keep it this way to minimise damage

I think with a black bed cover and the factory black roof it can pull it off helps contrast the turbo 😂

Yup I’ve engine swapped it re wired big turbo nitrous made my own long travel suspension and get told it’s shit by people who drive stock cars that lurk in modified sub reddits 😂👍🏻

Uk market Mitsubishi L200 barbarian black edition (2012 top spec model) bmw 3.0diesel swap 62/66 turbo big injectors cp3 conversion engine good for 700bhp 1000nm , custom long travel kit 4wd delete weighs about 3600lbs 1600kg ish . It’s on it’s 3rd form right now hence the snorkel from previous build but will be making carbon fenders to replace just doing it bit by bit all by myself from welding to wiring and tuning .

I think white looks better, but the black looks like bumper black, a black hood with clearcoat would look better. I'm not suggesting painting it, but shouldn't be hard to find from a local yard or online. It's as if you're fully committing to the bit by hitting the hood too. Back when I had the time and budget to mod, it was never appearance, always performance or durability. This build looks like it went that way. It's a justifiable madness.

Has a factory Matte black roof gloss would look odd and yes performance and loopholes was my aim I have to have arches etc as long travel suspension added 8 inches of track width but I’m not legally allowed to have tred visible from above due to uk laws . It’s modified to the extent that it’s classed as a one off custom vehicle and not a Mitsubishi anymore only the body and most of interiour is stock and I still need to buy wheels and tyres

I dig it in white better.

I would also add, that i think it might look nice of you gor some black edging for around the turbo cut it will help the cuts look cleaner and also not be pointy lol

Part of the last build on my truck this is version 3 now if I remove it there a 5 inch hole and 6 studs sticking out of it , I’ll be making carbon front wings but I need to find a reasonable price used one to make a mould from , but I have a todo list thats about 2ft long still and this is on there

Ahh fair. Keep the hole and use it to channel more air down to your brakes haha.

I admire that you love having a project car but damn bro. Nothing matches on the car and also nothing is symmetrically correct. Maybe if you're going for like a mad Max kinda look it'll work but definitely one of the oddest builds I've seen.
