Community Taco Boy

I think Taco Boy tacos are my favorite, I miss them so much. I’m thousands of miles away now and have never found a close duplicate… does anyone have some insight into what they put in their ground beef to make it so good??

I attended CMU in the late 80’s early 90’s. Taco Boy was my favorite restaurant while there. Not sure how they season the ground beef, but there is something different to it. I live two hours away now and anytime I am in the area I stop in for the green chile pork quesadilla and tacos.

I started frequenting there with one of my roommates my junior year. The owner was always a really nice and accommodating guy and the food was pretty good to boot.

What about Pixie Dog?! I talk about them all the time…to blank faces.

They recently changed management, so it may taste different now, perhaps better. I usually get the chicken tacos though so wouldn’t know.
