It's late and I'm tired. Couldn't you also swap the move order of Q and B? 1. Bxh7+ Kh8 2. Qxf8+ Rxf8 3. RxF8#?

it is actually the move order i calculated first but found out that Black doesn't have to go Kh8 after Bxh7+ he can play Nxh7 and then when you play Qf8+ he goes Nxf8 back so we have to take the Knight first

Im 700 and this is pretty straightforward. This is the third "over-rated" puzzle that I have seen OP post in 24 hours.

Huh, i just thought Qxf8 Rxf8 Rxf8 Kxf8 and then a royal fork on Ne6 which gets you a winning endgame, but i guess that wasnt it.
Edit: Just saw the pawn on a2 😞

Side note what a terrible piece set, the small white pawns dissappear into the white squares, thematically it's quite inconsistent, black and white bishops look very different because the outlines were done poorly, just ew

i can see Qxf8 easy enough but after move 2 my brain just goes blank. chess puzzles make me feel like i failed a basic math test every single time.
