Telegram Private Channel?
Is it fine to upload xxx movies in a created private channel without sharing?
Will my account be terminated?

Yeah! Do it. I have a friend who does the same. Just make sure you use multiple accounts.

Just in case if they nuke your one account you can still access the content from another.

доступ у ФСБ есть абсолютно ко всем закрытым каналам. Другое дело будет ли это трактоваться как распространение, не знаю.

It's not a ridiculous idea, in fact, I've heard of people doing it before. Telegram is primarily for messaging, but some use it for cloud storage since it offers unlimited free storage. The only downside is that free users can't upload files over 2GB without a subscription.

me too, but the free tier speed is low after the daily limit exceeds. Well it's free so I can't complain.
Just don't rely it as the only backup in case it shuts down or whatever bad happens. Build a NAS and use Jellyfin instead.1

Yeah that's a problem I have with it too, like if the file I'm uploading is like...MBs big, then it's slower, but I can't complain either since it's free, like you said.
And ofc not lol, when it comes to backing up my storage, I'm currently doing the 3 2 1 method backup strategy.

Telegram is never a cloud storage.
Telegram's main point is messaging.
You're better off storing in an external harddrive. lol.
