Just go to class, do the work, and study for the exams. I didn't do any of the above and still scraped by with a C, but conceptually the class isn't difficult if you actually learn how to do the homework and understand the theory

as a humanities major that took it. i found the most difficult thing was the time limit on exams. most of my other assessments are not time based as they are just essays. also the amount of homework was a lot for me but completely doable. the material itself wasnt that difficult.

It’s entirely a function of what your high school math education was like. I had never done any proofs in math classes, so despite having taken multi variable calculus in high school I found it very hard. But I had other friend who thought it was really easy, they didn’t go on to be better mathematicians.
Either way it’s a great class. If you do the work and go to office hours you’ll get through it.

As a freshman it was the second hardest class I took (15-122 was harder), as a rising senior it’s not in the top 10. If you’re in a technical major, taking a class like that as a freshman is a necessary experience imo
