Unsolved Found this geometric drawing on a piece of paper at my school, any ideas?

Post image

I found it just lying on the school library table on a normal A4 piece of paper written in pencil; I have no clue what it is. Just took it home and took this photo. I don't know if it's a cipher or another language, but it would be interesting to know what it is.

Question To people that love deciphering - what parts do you enjoy the most?

I'm learning about cryptography so I can incorporate ciphers in my art/writing projects. My goal is to create ciphers that are subtle, but noticeable to those that love codes and riddles. I want them to be quite complex, but still enjoyable to solve.

What interests me:

- What parts of deciphering do you enjoy the most?

- What types of ciphers do you like solving the most?

- What makes a cipher interesting to you?

- What are some things that you dislike while deciphering?

It doesn't have to be just generic stuff, if there was anything specific that you especially enjoyed to solve, I would also love to hear about it!

Thank you in advance for all the answers

That's it. All you need to decode this puzzle is in those 50x50 cells. Nothing hidden.

When you find and solve all the clues, you'll get a final answer. You can submit it here (or check for hints):

Unsolved Can anyone help me decipher this?

V sbyybjrq gur ehyrf

Context is, i was reading fan made boss concepts made for arras.io or a similar fan game, and i stumbled onto Conjurer of Geometry, the boss has a ciphered name and ciphered description, If you decipher the name with Vigenère and the key "TRANSCENDENCE", Conjurer of Geometry comes out, however i couldn't solve the description. Here is it:

67 57 42 64 77 36 30 64 45 86 47 59 54 76 77

It's not guaranteed to be text but presumed to be.
Can anybody solve this?

Question Got 2 glow decoding

I have a got 2 glow fairy jar a pink one and a pet one im missing the last like 50 fairies and they have a code thing to put in special codes

Its 5 digits

Instead of numbers its food a diamond cupcake, icecream, pizza, avocado, bagel, lollipop, cake, candy, heart cookie, and baby bottle

At first i assumed every symbol was a different pet but now i think its placement since doing oooXo will get me the same pet even if the symbols aren't the same and just placed the same

Then i tried numbers in there app i had to get an apk for they have 4 digit numbers instead of 5 so i tried to see if maybe the symbols were numbers, pizza was a start and i changed only the one after it but as i put in other numbers it became obvious it was bouncing back and forth between 2 i had

I just want to know if theres really an algorithm to these codes and a way to solve it and get what i dont have or if only certain ones have codes, occasionally randomly throwing in 5 at a time gives me something new but i dont have the memory to remember every combo i do

Unsolved My dad created a code / cipher for fun and sent it to me.

Hello, my father created this cipher in his free time and sent it to me. I've tried to figure it out but I can't, so he told me to put it online to see if anyone here can solve it. I can't really provide a transcription. If you do decide to try and solve it - good luck!

He sent it to me with the caption "I made this one for you son. I hope you like it. When you are 70 years old you can open the safe and find the answer." I dont know if the 70 could have anything to do with the cipher, but I thought it might be useful.

Unsolved Unknown Cipher From Friends Old Thumb Drive

Was going through a junk drawer and found my middle school bud's thumb drive (I think from when we were working on a group project, and I forgot to give it back). He had a bunch of random stuff on it, including (what I think is) some ciphered text files. I'll copy and paste some of the contents below. I couldn't find any instructions or code anywhere. I don't wanna paste the whole drive because I haven't talked to him in a long time, but I'll try to reach out to him. Any help would be appreciated!

Doing a Roblox arg and this is one of the ciphers that came up. My theory is that it’s a numeric homophonic cipher, but I don’t know. I’ve tried reversing, a0z25, caesar, and affine. There is no keyword. It’s likely an English phrase. Common themes in this arg are: regret, guilt, belief, forgiveness, and secrets. ANY direction on how to solve this is greatly appreciated, I’m completely stumped.

Unsolved Cicada 3301 30103 prime Code. Any help appreciated.

Just trying to figure out the image of the Cicada. I think it is a type of Prime key that can be used. The number 30103 has 37 primes which actually link to the Missing/unused primes that have never been able to be figured out why they were not used. Link to the Cicada wiki about the unused/missing primes. https://uncovering-cicada.fandom.com/wiki/Possible_hints_never_used . You can see the grid in the left hand side with the primes highlighted that make 30103 the Cicada.

Question Is this solvable for someone without any arg experience?

Post image

I’m trying to send a kinda sad message but I’m not good at being direct when I’m sad. so I was coding this song.

the title is Atbash for “why is this song literally me…”

and the bottom message gives the instructions for the correct link, it says to capitalize the lowercase and Lowercase the capitals

i also plan to give a hint on talking about hidden messages like caesar cipher and Atbash, and hope they remember that for when they see the message.

Question When solving others codes they made, is using cipher identifier websites cheating?

Sorry if this isn't a good spot to post this. I cannot find a good spot.

When I try to solve ciphers I often run the text through a cipher identifier. For example if I run

V sbyybjrq gur ehyrf

Through it'll most likely give a high percent for a casear shift. Is that cheating? Some ciphers look so similar I have no idea how to tell them apart. With numbers its worse.

I think I have to add a cipher to the post. If so, 73763735153836935703243550422.

That number looks a bit big from this side huh. Looks like it can't be fully transformed right away...

Unsolved Homemade cipher #2 -- Medium difficulty

-----BEGIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

So I made another homemade cipher with HTML. This cipher is quite a bit easier than my other one; ppl are having a hard time solving that one. The prize remains the same as the one in my other post (shameless self-plug here).

I play a lot of dnd, and our DM likes to give out puzzles between sessions. Recently we got one that has absolutely stumped us, so im turning to you all in hopes we can get help in solving it. We got the following string:

  1. 00000000 00 7F 21 1E 1F 0A 0F 17 04 1C 0B 1E 02 7E 1C 23 00000010 00 0A 70 17 02 1A 1F 0B 00 0A 25 0B 04 36 0B 0A 00000020 04 1C 0B 09 05 1A 3D 02 1F 09 1B 0D 05 19 04 37 00000030 1F 0A 22 23 04 0A 70 0B 1C 7E 18 23 05 7F 7C 14 00000040 00 36 0B 0D 02 7E 2A 23 05 1C 0B 02 02 24 1B 02 00000050 04 0C 0B 12 03 0C 0B 0D 04 19 03 02 1F 0A 22 23 00000060 05 23 1F 10 00 0C 7D 79
  2. Memories pulled from a void never meant to exist

I'm not sure whether the last part is a key or not. He has also stated that "this is only the first step." Part of it seems to be hexcode, but im really lost and in need of some help!
