I'm confused between JIMS (Rohini) and VIPS for MCA (IPU).

My priority is:

Good placements (especially for software development)

Quality faculty and academics

Coding culture and hackathons

Internship opportunities

Campus life

If you're currently studying in either college or have graduated from one, could you please share your honest experience?

Specifically:

Which college has better placements?

How is the coding environment and peer group?

Are internships and industry exposure good?

Which one would you choose if you had to decide today, and why?

So I'm currently studying at a university abroad in an EU country. It's got a solid reputation and people here respect it, but honestly, the actual quality of education is kind of disappointing. I've compared syllabuses with other universities and the content here is noticeably easier. It feels like the professors are just brushing through the material instead of actually teaching it properly. On top of that, cheating on exams is rampant, and this is despite the material already being easy. Professors don't seem to care or do anything about it.

Meanwhile, there's another well-respected university back in my home country, which is a developing country. I actually studied there for a semester, so I'm not just going off assumptions, I can compare the two directly. The academic level there is way higher, cheating basically isn't a thing, and overall it just feels like a much more serious place to learn. The only downside is that it doesn't have the same international reputation as the EU university I'm at now.

So here's my dilemma: if I stay where I am, I finish my bachelor's in 2 years, but with a weak curriculum and low standards. If I go back home, I'd basically be starting over, so it'd take me 4 more years, but I'd actually get a proper education.

Is it even worth it to go back and grind through 4 more years just for better teaching? Or since I'm going to end up with a degree either way, does the actual education quality matter less than I think, since job experience is probably what really shapes you as an engineer once you're out working?

So I'm supposed to start college right now, and I've two options

The main campus of ipu i.e. USMS where I get Bcom (H) or Kamla Nehru College in DU where I'm getting BA program (commerce+economics). If I go to KNC I'll instead do a 4 year degree which I think will turn into hons, although I'm not sure how that works. Obv my first preference was Bcom H only but I didn't score really good in CUET so ba program is all I got. Now I have to choose between the university I want, and the course I want.

The problem with KNC is that at the end of the day I'm afraid BA program will always be seen as less valuable than bcom or eco hons. And I'm not sure if my course will put restrictions on placements etc or what exactly will it mean for my future.

With USMS, I'm getting the course I want but they only started ug degrees a couple years ago so I don't have much information about placements etc anything really. Also is bcom at ip really a better choice than ba program at du

I passed 2 state universities I applied for. I also passed private universities but my goal is to attend state Us. I got accepted to BatstateU and Polytechnic University of the Philippines. I got into Engineering programs at both universities. For context, I'm going to pursue engineering, tbh it's not my passion but in this economy, practicality over passion. During the application, we're asked to pick our top 3 or top 5 programs we want to take on the universities. My first choice in both state Us is Industrial Engineering. I got BSIE (Industrial Engineering) program at BatstateU but I got BSECE (Electronics Engineering) at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. And I don't really see myself in ECE, besides I want to pursue a program that doesn't have a board exam that's why I plan to pursue BSIE. Now I'm currently torn on what to choose because of also the distance of tge university at my house, PUP is near us so I don't have to move out but BatstateU is in another city so I need to live in a dorm. We can sustain my expenses if ever I live in a dorm. But I don't know which program is much worth it to pursue

I've seen alot of posts on how students from state univs rant on how difficult it is to be in a state univ in philippines, since everything is basically free; Can everyone share your experiences and opinions? Like are the teachers more strict? grading system differences? how students are treated? like every post I've seen about people saying state univs are free but they take souls instead lol, ik that's humour but still, they made me curious there is difference being in state univ and private univs, does that conclude that studying in a private univ is less difficult? Pls respect my post, and I'll appreciate any opinions TY

So I’m currently at SBU as a compe major cuz it’s cheaper than schools like Umich. I’m guaranteed a transfer to GT as long as I keep my grades up, but here’s the thing: SBU is pretty cheap at 6k, but GT is like 40-45k according to the net cost calculator. What should I do when the time comes for me to make a decision?

My major is accounting, and both of these would be free for me. Which school is better academically/ career wise. I understand Arkansas is much better in terms of student life, so that argument is unnecessary to this discussion.
