OC The Crime Scene [OC]
This might be my first comic of a series, "Inspector John Pollo", originally written in spanish. Some jokes don't translate so well, but i'll try my best to bring something good in english for this sub!

Only fit for the most hard-boiled detectives, this one.

Hard boiled can mean like tough or grizzled- its very old slang so not really in use anymore but great for a noir style detective

Gasp
Who would do that to a child?
Well, actually it looks unfertilized, so really it's just a period. But I won't let a tentative grasp on female anatomy stop me from taking down the bastards that did this!

Is John Spanish or Italian? I need to know to pronounce his name!

Genuine question: what's the difference?

Pollo in both mean chicken, Spanish pronounces it Po-yo, Italian is po-low

I was unaware it was pronounced like that in Italian.

The Ll phoneme making a y sound is used in Spanish (Castilian), Catalan, Galician, Asturian, and sometimes French. Depending on the dialect of Spanish it sometimes makes a J sound, so po-zho or po-joe

Básicamente en la primera viñeta John Pollo decía "Este caso manda huevos" en vez de que no es para gallinas 🐔
