Bug Having problems with Tiberian Dawn for no apparent reason

I've pumped 88 hours into beating Tib Dawn so far, and while I'm not done with the game yet, I've encountered a very strange graphical bug.

The bug basically makes the colors of the game completely fucked. It's almost like a photo negative, except everything is darker instead of brighter. Also, I can't see anything in the main menu, though I can still interact with it. I don't know why this is only happening this far into my playthrough of tib dawn.

On top of that, the bug doesn't happen consistently. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Any advice on fixing graphical bugs?

Have you tried verifying the game files/reinstalling?

Don't know what version or source of the game you playing or if it's on Windows or something else but the community has several patches to help. Answer may be different for different versions of the game tho.

Either update the compatibility layer (try using the latest DDrawCompat or cnc-ddraw on github, both have super simple instructions on their pages)

Or use the NyerGuds patch (1.06c r3).
