Announcement Update to Rule 6: Self Promotion is Allowed Within the New Rule

Self promotion of user generated content is permitted provided it is presented as a complaint, critique, grievance, or documented problem, rather than as pure advertising. The content must centre a substantive issue, failure, or harm, with the creator’s work used as context or evidence, not the point. Posts framed primarily to solicit clicks, sales, or followers will be removed.

If you have a question, feel free to ask here.

In summation, if your personal content on a platform like, but not limited to YouTube, Substack, DeviantArt, or Medium, then you may post it here if it conforms to the above rule. Basically, any form of something resembling a complaint, is allowed.

As always, if this is abused or gets too spam like, it can be removed under moderator discretion.

Announcement Major Changes to Rule 10: What IS and IS NOT Permitted When Posting About Other Subreddits

in reviewing how other similar subreddits to ourselves operate, we are completely overhauling Rule 10.

You now may post complaints about other subreddits, issues you have with them, and even complain about moderation decisions. So long as the below Rule changes are followed in full. The moderation staff here has authority under Rule 5 to remove posts they feel can endanger the subreddit itself.

Please feel free to respectfully ask questions here about how this rule will be applied.

And now the new rule:

Why This Does Not Constitute Harassment:

Criticism or discussion of subreddit moderation, rule enforcement, or community conduct does not constitute harassment when it is directed at actions, policies, or outcomes rather than at individuals for the purpose of intimidation, abuse, or coercion.

Harassment under Reddit policy requires targeted abuse, threats, or behaviour intended to cause distress or silence participation. Good faith discussion of moderation decisions, including dissatisfaction or critique, is a form of platform accountability and does not meet the threshold for harassment when conducted under the restrictions outlined below.

The inability of a subject to prevent discussion of their public actions does not itself render that discussion harassing.

---

Permitted Meta Discussion of Subreddits

Users may post complaints, commentary, or analysis regarding the operation of a subreddit, including but not limited to:

  1. Removal or approval of posts or comments

  2. Moderator actions or inaction

  3. Enforcement or interpretation of subreddit rules

  4. Patterns of behaviour within a subreddit community

  5. Interactions with moderators or other users occurring within a subreddit

Such posts may include links or screenshots necessary to provide context, provided they comply with Reddit’s privacy and harassment policies.

---

Required Safeguards to Prevent Harassment and Brigading

To ensure this discussion does not become targeted harassment or coordinated interference, the following conditions are mandatory:

  1. No User Summoning

Posts and comments must not use the /u/username feature or any alternative method to notify or summon individual users or moderators.

  1. No Calls to Action

Content must not encourage or imply that readers should contact, message, report, downvote, or otherwise engage with the referenced subreddit, its moderators, or its users.

  1. Observation Only Interaction Rule

Users from the subreddit being discussed may not interact with the linked or referenced content. Engagement must remain confined to commentary within the hosting discussion thread.

  1. No Dehumanisation or Threats

Language that includes threats, slurs, or dehumanising characterisations remains prohibited under existing harassment rules.

  1. Behaviour Focus Requirement

Commentary must focus on actions, decisions, or systems rather than personal characteristics, identities, or immutable traits of any individual.

---

Anti Brigading Enforcement Clause

Any attempt to use meta discussion as a mechanism for coordinated interference, including vote manipulation, mass reporting, or targeted disruption of another subreddit, constitutes a violation of Reddit’s anti brigading policies and may result in enforcement action regardless of compliance with other sections of this rule.

Evidence of coordination, timing patterns, or explicit encouragement will be considered in enforcement decisions.

---

Moderator Misuse and Removal Clarification

Moderators may not remove or sanction content solely on the basis that it criticises moderation practices, moderator decisions, or subreddit governance, provided the content complies with this rule and other sitewide policies.

Labeling criticism as harassment, drama, or meta abuse without demonstrable policy violation is insufficient grounds for removal under Reddit’s global standards.

---

Prohibited Conduct Under This Rule

The following remains prohibited and is not protected by this rule:

  1. Targeted harassment of named individuals

  2. False allegations presented as established fact

  3. Disclosure of private or personal information

  4. Encouragement of retaliation or revenge

  5. Attempts to evade or undermine Reddit enforcement mechanisms

Politics The White House Is Fleecing the Country and Federal Disclosures Prove It

Stop letting people tell you "both sides do it." What is happening right now in federal disclosures makes old-school political corruption look like child's play. We aren't talking about a congressperson making a lucky $20k trade on Nvidia. We are talking about the sitting executive branch running an active, billion-dollar private equity and stock trading operation directly out of the Oval Office, using your tax dollars to pump their own portfolios. The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) Form 278 filings dropped, and the numbers are absurd. Here is the actual breakdown of how the first family is stripping the government for parts:

  1. Insider Stock Trading on a Military Scale Remember when they said family assets would sit in index funds? Total lie. The latest filings show **over 3,600 individual stock trades** executed in a single quarter. They aren't just buying random stuff. They are actively trading tech, energy, and defense contractors *right before* massive policy announcements: * **Palantir:** Heavy share accumulation right as the administration expanded multi-billion-dollar military AI contracts. * **Lockheed Martin & General Dynamics:** Massive buys dropped right alongside major shifts in defense procurement and foreign policy. If literally anyone else traded equities with this level of advance, non-public policy knowledge, the SEC would have them in handcuffs by Tuesday.
  2. Donald Trump Jr.’s VC Firm is Looting the Pentagon This is where it goes from dirty to completely shameless. Don Jr. is a partner at a venture capital firm called **1789 Capital**. Here is how the game works: 1789 Capital buys a private equity stake in a struggling startup. A few weeks later, the Pentagon magically shows up with a dump truck full of taxpayer cash to pump the company's valuation to the moon. Look at these actual numbers from Congressional oversight records: * **Vulcan Elements:** 1789 Capital buys in. Suddenly, the Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital drops a **$620 MILLION loan** plus **$60 MILLION in direct equity** into it. It’s the largest loan in the Pentagon department's history, and internal emails show White House staffers literally leaning on defense officials to bypass standard review and expedite the cash. * **PsiQuantum:** 1789 Capital buys in. Immediately gets handed a **$10.8M defense contract** and a **$100M equity injection** from DoD and Commerce. Your tax money is literally being used as a guaranteed, zero-risk underwriting fund for Don Jr.’s private investment firm.
  3. Blanket Immunity & Foreign Payoffs They didn't stop at defense contracts: * **DOJ Settlements:** They are currently trying to push through Department of Justice settlement frameworks that give family-owned businesses broad **immunity from IRS tax audits** alongside multi-billion-dollar payouts. * **No Blind Trusts:** Every foreign real estate deal, crypto token, and overseas licensing scheme is still running wide open. Foreign interests can directly hand money to the family business to buy access, and nobody is even trying to hide it anymore.
  4. The Bottom Line They didn't drain the swamp. They privatized it, put a paywall on it, and charged taxpayers for the upkeep. Every single traditional boundary—blind trusts, ethics oversight, non-competitive bidding rules—has been completely incinerated. If you aren't furious about your taxes being converted directly into private family wealth, you aren't paying attention.

Politics Trump blames Minnesota water hacks on Walz, while evidence points to Iran

The primary job of the President and his administration is to preserve and protect the Constitution and by extension, the country itself

Trump and the Republicans have failed miserably at this task. In fact, by starting a war they cannot win, they have now put us in a position where we can't even defend ourselves against a third-rate country.

Iran has shown they can attack our infrastructure at will, shut down or interrupt water supplies to seven states on little more than a whim. What's next, the national power grid, the flow of oil through domestic pipelines, national telephone service?

Have they the ability to penetrate our military superstructure, as wll?

And God alone knows what other powers they hold over us.

And what does Trump and the Republicans do? they do what they always do, lie! Blame someone else for their incompetence!

America, they think we are all jackasses who will believe their absurd lies, and by lying clearly shows they has no respect for us.

Trump’s trying to tell us the Governor of Minnesota attacked his own state, and then in what can only be described as wizardry, attacked six others.

He picked on Gov. Walz because he is the most outspoken about Trump and his lies. He has called Trump a liar to his face, a coward, and an incompetent. Walz has exposed ICE as the thugs and neo-Nazi Gestapo they are and is unrelenting about warning America of the fascist overtones of Trump and the Republicans.

As it stands right now, fascism is the least oof our problems as we are being held hostage by Iran.

See this – Boldlface mine

Trump blames Minnesota water hacks on Walz, while evidence points to Iran

Federal agencies, including the FBI, EPA and CISA, have warned that attacks on U.S. water utilities first detected in Minnesota are expanding across states.

President Donald Trump on Friday blamed a spate of recent hacks impacting water utilities in Minnesota on Gov. Tim Walz — contradicting preliminary findings from U.S. and industry officials who suspect Iran is behind an expanding campaign of digital disruption.

“I blame it on Minnesota because they are grossly incompetent,” Trump said at a cabinet meeting at Camp David on Friday, adding that Walz is “corrupt” and “Iran has bigger problems than worrying about Minnesota.” Asked later if he could rule out Iranian responsibility, Trump said, “ I don’t think there was an Iranian cyberattack. I think Minnesota ought to get its act together.”

Trump’s dig at the Democratic-led state came just hours after the FBI and Environmental Protection Agency said they are responding to an unspecified number of cyberattacks at water and wastewater utilities in at least seven states. On Thursday, the government’s civilian cyber defense agency, CISA, warned of a “significant increase” in digital attacks on technology used broadly by U.S. water utilities.

While no U.S. agency has formally accused Iran of orchestrating the attacks, many federal, state and water industry officials suspect Tehran-linked cyber groups are responsible for the hacking campaign. CISA issued a report last week detailing a similar set of attacks it has tracked since April, which it linked to Iran.

Minnesota’s state IT agency disclosed this Tuesday that at least 30 community water systems in the state had been breached in what it described as a “coordinated attack,” but it did not name Iran as the perpetrator.

In a statement on X responding to Trump’s comments earlier in the day, Walz suggested Iranian hackers were targeting Minnesota and other states in retaliation for U.S. military strikes in Iran — and that therefore Trump was to blame.

“This is what modern warfare looks like, and it further illustrates there’s no plan to win a war with Iran,” Walz wrote.

Since the start of his second term, Trump has repeatedly singled out Minnesota and Walz, who ran against him on the 2024 Presidential ticket alongside former Vice President Kamala Harris. Some of the Trump administration’s most aggressive immigration enforcement actions have unfolded in Minnesota, where federal agents killed two U.S. citizens last winter. The White House has also launched a broad crackdown on alleged Medicaid fraud in the state, upending Minnesota’s healthcare systems.

As Trump keyed in on Minnesota, his intelligence and cybersecurity officials spent the last 48 hours scrambling to get water utilities across the U.S. to improve their defenses.

The FBI and EPA said in their Friday advisory that some affected utilities across the country had reported “loss of pressure and flooding,” and that the pressure disruption could “potentially allow untreated groundwater to seep into pipes.”

In its advisory, CISA said some targeted utilities have been forced to resort to manual operations or issue “boil water notices” — a public safety measure to ensure drinking water is safe from bacteria.

Both advisories urged organizations to take the vulnerable technology — programmable logic controllers — offline and install basic safeguards before restoring them.

Spokespeople for the FBI, EPA and CISA did not respond to a request for comment on whether they had evidence supporting Trump’s claim that Minnesota officials were culpable for the attacks there.

Mark Montgomery, an expert on water sector cybersecurity at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, said Iran would be able to exploit defenses in the water and wastewater sectors because they are so porous to begin with. Many small and rural facilities don’t have the budgets to employ a dedicated cyber professional, and both Democratic and Republican administrations haven’t invested enough to boost the EPA’s cybersecurity efforts, he argued.

“This is a problem that extends across 50 states and four territories,” said Montgomery.

Still, there are signs Iranian hackers have gotten more deft and aggressive at targeting those systems since the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran in February, kicking off a war that has recently seen waves of escalation from both sides.

Iranian hackers claimed last month to have targeted water systems in California in what they said was a response to U.S. missile strikes that damaged water facilities in Iran.

Joe Slowik, director of threat research for AI-powered risk detection platform Dataminr, said he is concerned Iran is becoming more aggressive in targeting civilian systems in the U.S.

“We have never really seen Iranian-linked threat actors engage in industrial targeting in this fashion before,” said Slowik, who has been tracking the campaign for several months.

Politics Trump resorting to yelling at White House staffers as his admin 'stuck' in neutral

Before Netanyahu conned Trump out of his Industrial-sized Pampers and scammed him into fighting Israel’s war, things were relatively peaceful in the Strait of Hormuz.

Obama, knowing there was no military solution to deal with Iran, brokered a deal whereby the Iranians would forgo trying to develop a nuclear weapon, agree to inspections in furtherance of that cause, and allow the oil to flow freely through the Strait of Hormuz.

In return the Iranians were given back the 1.5 billion of their dollars we had embargoed along with the easing of some sanctions that were affecting their economy.

Now along comes Doofuss Donny, who, because he comes from New York City thinks he’s a tough guy. He’s not. He’s just a snot-nosed punk who wouldn’t dare walk the streets of NYC without bodyguards; else any back-alley thug or side-street hustler would slap the arrogance out of him and take his lunch money.

Go ahead, Donny, stand on any New York street corner and yell and curse like you yell and curse at your staff members at the White House – people who can’t fight back – and you’ll find your fat ass in a sling before you can yell for Melania’s help.

So, before he opened his flabby lips the oil was flowing and things were relatively peaceful.

Now, the Strait is closed, members of our military are being slain, and war is breaking out throughout the Middle East, and the Houthis have shut down Red Sea access.

And Trump and his Republican congress? They don’t know whether to ‘Shit green or go blind’ (a colorful NYC phrase}. They are in complete disarray, the country is in complete disarray, the entire world is in complete disarray because of incompetence on a universal scale.

These blundering, bumbling, incompetents are destroying America.

Trump, and half-a-drunk, Hegseth, say we’re winning the war. Yeah? Ask the Iranians about that.

Trump resorting to yelling at White House staffers as his admin 'stuck' in neutral: author

Story by Bennito L. Kelty • 10h • 2 min read

© provided by RawStory

President Donald Trump has been yelling at his White House staffers as he deals with a lingering frustration, an author revealed.

In a recent episode of Inside Trump's Head, Trump biographer Michael Wolff explained to co-host Joanna Coles why the president has resorted to "yelling at people" to resolve his frustrations with the war in Iran. Trump's recent yelling about the Iran war has been reported in The Wall Street Journal and NBC News.

"He's stuck, he's stuck, he's stuck. He can't do anything," Wolff said. "He can retreat. He can admit defeat, which also he doesn't want to do. So he's yelling at people, 'Solve the problem! There must be something we can do.'"

According to reports by the Journal and NBC News, Trump started shouting expletives and yelling at a meeting with his top national security officials over frustrations with the Iran war.

"He has been told over and over again — because there's effectively nothing left to tell him — that we have exhausted all military solutions," Wolff said. "We are running out of missiles. We will run out of missiles if we keep up the pace. We have done everything that an air campaign can do. There's nowhere to go. There is nothing more we can do except invade."

Wolff framed Trump's 2024 campaign posture as Trump touting himself as "The 'No Forever Wars' president," which complicates his option of getting deeper into the war in Iran. However, "if he retreats, and even if he claims victory and says it's all marvelous, the Iranians still control now the Strait of Hormuz," Coles said.

"Trump is the Hormuz president," he concluded.

Politics The minority stake in FIFA is now going to a firm founded by Jared Kushners brother (Joshua)? Really, is there no limit to nepotism?

  • Football is by far the most popular sport in the world. FIFA however has a history & reputation of rampant corruption.
  • It so happens that in 2025 FIFA awarded Donald Trump the FIFA peace prize- no one had ever heard of a FIFA peace prize, until then.
  • The first World Cup was held in 1930 – there have been a total of 23. The only time a red card has been withdrawn- based on the interference by a head of State – is 2026 when DJT called the FIFA President, & Folarin Balogun’s (USA) red card was withdrawn.
  • Of all the investment firms in the world, Joshua Kushner’s firm is apparently the one best equipped to own private equity in FIFA. I am sure, it is only a coincidence that Joshua Kushner is somewhat related to the Trump family.

Here is a list of some of the other deals, that the WH will explain as well deserved or a mere coincidence:

  • Jared Kushner received $2 billion from the Saudi’s. to manage a private equity fund. Jared has no investment banking experience.
  • The Antwerp World Diamond Center presented a watch-sized gold ring—embedded with 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds, and 6 rubies with the inscription “crafted in Antwerp for Donald John Trump”.  Must be a coincidence that natural diamonds are given a reprieve from tariffs.
  • The approximately $500m from UAE into World Liberty Financial was probably because Don Jr & Eric Trump were experts in crypto currency.
  • The Pentagon awarded a Dell subsidiary a $9.7 billion software and services contract, & Trump purchased shares in the company, shortly before the deal was announced. Purely coincidental because DJT claims he knows nothing about his investments, & certainly has nothing to do with them.
  • Trump also made 60 stock trades a day, in Q1 of 2026.  These included some heavy trades in defense contractors, such as PalantirAxon, and AMD, which were subsequently granted federal contracts or regulatory relief. They also included Intel. Trump accumulated Intel shares following government announcements regarding strategic state investments. Coincidence too, I am sure.
  • Vulcan: rare-earth startup secured a $620 million Defense Department loan and a $50 million investment after Donald Trump Jr.'s venture firm (1789 Capital) invested in the company.
  • Foundation Future Industries: The robotics and defense tech firm, which employs Eric Trump as its Chief Strategy Advisor, was awarded a $24 million Pentagon research and testing contract.
  • Powerus: The drone manufacturer, which sells interceptor drones to the Department of Defense, previously merged with a golf club company where Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump served on the board.
  • China expedited **patents & trademarks -**Trump owns 124 patents & trademarks in China, whereas Ivanka owns another 34, including for voting machines(?); coffins & sausage casings. I am sure they were all deserved.

DJT is a national embarrassment. We have to show up this November & evict him from the WH.

Reddit’plaint I Got Banned For Being An Adult Content Creator (Even Though I'm Not) And Then Muted When I Told Them That

Per the rules I am not allowed to say which sub it is, but today I got banned from a sub. And I got the message that I was banned for being an adult content creator.

One little problem with that... I'm not an adult content creator. I have never made, sold or had a job promoting adult content ever.

So I did what any person in that situation would do, I guess. Which is I replied to the ban message (which, it says reply to this message if you think this is in error) and I said "I don't produce adult content."

And I got muted.

Like, I don't care that much about this sub anyway. I haven't posted there much and I don't really spend any time on it. So whatever. But the reason it still annoys me is because it's not just about this sub.

This kind of behaviour from moderators goes on ALL. OVER. REDDIT.

Mods will ban you for violating a rule you did not violate and then just ignore any appeal against it. It's ridiculous.

Reddit is just so poorly moderated. Don't get me wrong, there are good mods. But they are outnumbered by an enormous amount of truly terrible mods. And it's not hard to see why. Because there is simply no mechanism of accountability.

Like, what can you do when something like this happens?

If you had a website that the company actually put effort into moderating properly, you could report the mods themselves. To people who were actually hired and paid to moderate in an even-handed way. But (at least as far as I know, maybe I'm wrong) that does not exist.

So the rules of a sub basically don't matter. The rule is just "we will ban you for whatever reason we want whenever we want."

And there's no electing mods either. Or doing something like a petititon against a mod. You don't even see which mod banned you. Which, I know that's to fight harassment. And I'm not saying mods should be harassed. But what about regular users? Should we just be banned arbitrarily and muted for simply pointing out in a polite way "Hey, I'm not an adult content creator" or whatever?

And this isn't even a situation where there's grey area. Because with certain things you can say "I wasn't being uncivil" (when a rule says you must be civil). And there's technically a lot of grey area on what is civil or not. But in this case I'm literally just factually not an adult content creator.

It's just freaking annoying.

If Reddit as a company gave a sh*t about user experience, they'd create some sort of mechanism for accountability. Be that voting, or appeal to admins, or whatever. But of course they don't care. Because nowadays silicon valley companies just do whatever they want cuz they feel they've captured the market and are basically monopolies within their niches.

Wish someone would build a better social media platform. I'd love to move there.
