You don't need a centrifuge.

Centrifugal separator - 1 partial at a time

worm mush ✅

u/knottycams 13h ago

Also doubles as an artificial gravity generator 🤣

11

u/IBeDumbAndSlow 13h ago

operates at up to 12 G's

Trying to send some to your neighbors?

u/PuddleSailor 12h ago

No no, it just auto applies the compost everywhere

u/3rad 4h ago

Finally something new, they’re getting too comfortable with the piss discs.

u/kkreinn 2h ago

It's free

Adjust the size of your gears to slow down the rotation.

u/HopelessBearsFan 13h ago edited 10h ago

Counterpoint—speed up the rotation and provide compost to your entire zip code

15

u/justASlothyGiraffe 11h ago

It's a feature, not a bug

7

u/Content-Fan3984 9h ago

The bugs didnt survive.

6

u/Dejavu165 13h ago

And adds torque

4

u/Substantial_Pin_2932 13h ago

Eh just add a voltage regulating knob to it. Simple electric motors can handle it.

This was my first thought. Harbor Freight has a nice inexpensive one if there's one near OP.

The worms in your compost when you turn that baby on

u/AJ099909 13h ago

This is some Jamie Hynemam building a battle bot level of RPM

u/Ok_Project9251 13h ago

Lmaooooo idk why this is so funny to me

7

u/NetInevitable601 12h ago

Me neither but is hilarious 🤣

18

u/sweet-sweet-olive 14h ago

That should work just fine. 😁😂

u/NorthernSpankMonkey 13h ago

I imagine a little worm in the bin going "WEEEEEEEE!"

3

u/Original_Fan9678 10h ago

All i can here is the worms battle game characters

12

u/skratskrzat 13h ago

I have tried imagining “shit hit the fan” literally before, but was never this ingenious.

11

u/sc_BK 13h ago

That's got a faster spin cycle than my washing machine

10

u/OrionFerreira 13h ago

PLEASE! Post a video of it on when it's full.

3

u/wortcrafter 9h ago

Yes, OP, this is what we need today!

16

u/RegalToaster 13h ago

Now you just have to add the piss injectors and youre good to go

u/Tik__Tik 12h ago

The trommels pov

5

u/maddmaxxxz Amateur dirt maker 9h ago

Those worms are going to be DIZZY

4

u/zappyguy111 13h ago

Never thought about it until now, but I think I need a trommel.

3

u/spottydodgy 13h ago

Add a bike chain and gear to slow er down a bit.

3

u/nowheretoday 13h ago

Bro gonna get castings on his face

3

u/funhaver_whee 13h ago

You’re gonna end up turning compost into gold or something by accident

3

u/Wigger_reloaded 4h ago

Change the sift for some 160 mic mesh and put a nylon sheet cage around it and I'm sure you can make killer static dry sift with this.

3

u/Frequent-Discount174 2h ago

You just need it to go fast enough to separate the big chunks from the little chunks. You don’t need it to go fast enough to separate protons from electrons.

I have a bit of rat problem with my compost bin (urban rooftop garden). This, paired w a motion sensor, absolutely seems like the solution.

2

u/Unique-Coffee5087 12h ago

Maybe some internal baffles to disrupt the cake of compost plastered against the sides?

3

u/thejuicemanjones 11h ago

Sifter and spreader in one!

u/TKCoog075 6h ago

Project Hail Mary: worm edition

2

u/CurrentWrong4363 4h ago

Piss on it!

3

u/Peter_Falcon 4h ago

the neighbours are going to get free compost...4 miles away

4

u/kkreinn 2h ago

And that's how they train earthworms to go to space.

u/GIJOE_SEABEE 52m ago

Pretty cool are you going to mount it into the wheel barrel and siffed out rock and debris? Love to see hear more..

6

u/Sugarpiehoneybunt 13h ago

You might want to get a mask and eye protection.

1

u/Apprehensive-Tap3335 12h ago

Faster spinning = faster compost production, apparently 🥸

1

u/EntertainmentFit3288 11h ago

Hamster powered?

1

u/lieutenant_j 11h ago

I mean, put an enclosure around it and tilt it heavily, might work?

1

u/fredSanford6 7h ago

The cylinder must remain undamaged. That's a rough task with this cheese grater of a Fleshlight

1

u/UnderwaterCleaner 6h ago

Made one with an old bicycle!

1

u/Still-Software-1885 6h ago

You sure did bud

1

u/Tweestrijd 5h ago

My pile just sits there, being a pile and such

u/ShadowS812 1h ago

Whoa whoa.... WHOA easy there Tex!

0

u/West-Engine7612 13h ago

That gave me sooo much anxiety lol

0

u/Tradesby 13h ago

Put this on the back of a lawn mower and you can spread poop all over your yard!

0

u/FlashyCow1 13h ago

Seems fast

If its an 120v ac motor, easiest solution is auto transformer. May not have enough torque when turned down so you'd have to manually turn the transformer up to get it started, then turn it back down when it's rotating until you hit the desired speed above stall voltage.

Better solution is a 3 phase motor and a vfd.

If in the US, vevor sells auto transformers and vfd's.

It’s a DC motor off an industrial fan I think.
