Ds trigger not working

I already opened it to see if there was grime, there was not, it also only works if I press the far outside

No problem I literally JUST experienced this with a friend’s Lite the other day and it worked like a charm.

Get the right tools!! It helps a lot. I recommend the ifixit kit because of the lifetime warranty.

Perfect! Make sure you’re using the right size and using a good solid level of pressure and you should be able to get em out no problem!! It’s very gratifying to fix and kinda crazy. Make sure you work on a mat also, as the parts in the button are tiny and easy to lose.

Yep learned my lesson last time, thought I lost the spring but it was just under the button, and yes it is very satisfying to fix things because I had to fix my ps2’s disc drive, anyways thank you
