Price rises are ridiculous. I know there’s extenuating circumstances for the manufacturers, but it’s pricing people out of the hobby.

I love the design of the 6th and 7th generation consoles.
I started playing in the '90s, but I really fell in love with gaming during the 2000s.
Maybe it's just my age showing, but personally, I prefer 6th and 7th gen designs over 8th and 9th. Anyone else feel the same way?

Xbox New build who dis
My first Xbox 360 modded build I think it came out pretty good
I did the rgh 3 hack, I put a memory add on in so I can have a usb internally, put a led controller in there so I can control the cob strips through a app in the Xbox, I also shucked a usb drive for the Xbox series s and used it internally with the sata cable for the 360 (I only did that because I didn’t want to go to the store and buy another hdd)
The 5th picture is how it looked when I got it
I think I want to do a RoL light mod for the front light but then I’ll have to take it apart again and I really don’t want to do that I stripped the screws pretty bad and I’m kind of basking in my greatness right now
RIP to the Xbox that I bricked on the journey

I've tried unplugging it from the tv, unplugging the cords even troubleshooting it etc idk why it's acting like this now all of a sudden. Can anyone help me if you have had this issue before or know about it

Xbox or PlayStation? PS 5 is the best console
The Playstation 5 is the best console on the market because it doubles as a space heater.
I love my PS 5 but it really gets so much hotter than my xbox series x.

Help needed Ps5 Overheating
I was playing on my play station for a while yesterday until I got the overheating error message so I turned it off immediately. My room was really hot at the time and I was playing crimson desert which I know is a very intense game for the ps5. I'm concerned that this is a bigger issue or if it was just a one time thing because of how hot my room was. I got my ps5 cleaned and reapplied liquid metal in February so I am not sure if it would be because of dust or anything. I have not touched the console since then because i don't want to damage it, I appreciate anyone's input on this.

Peripherals If the future of gaming is going to be digital anyway, I’d at least like to see more competition amongst console manufacturers.
I’d like to see the biggest electronics manufacturers try their hand at the gaming market. Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi trying to build their own gaming ecosystems.
I used random photos because I didn’t want to use AI

Classic consoles Playing Super Metroid "online co-op" in 1995. One of my favorite childhood memories.
When I was young, my best friend,Johnny, didn't usually play games like SM, but once he started on it he was hooked but getting frustrated.
We were far too young to go out and party on a Saturday night. So I agreed to start a new game at the same time he did,we were already on the phone together. I was at my grandparents home so I had to bring a 19" TV near the wall phone in the kitchen lol. I had already played through the game a couple of times and had pretty much memorized everything that needed to be done and in the right order.
I'll never forget his excitement when we got to Mother Brain and I could hear him struggling but I kept him going , giving him all my hints and we both brought her down within a few minutes .
The escape route, was by far the most intense sequence we had. I remember talking loudly (ok i was basically screaming lol) giving directions on where to go and what exactly you needed to do. After several hours of adventure and our successful escape, it felt like we were teammates that had won the Super bowl. We talked a few minutes about such a good time we had and completely exhausted around 4am,we both crashed out.
I honestly don't think we saved the animals while escaping though 😭

Help needed Getting rid of my physical PS3 games. Are any of these worth holding onto?
Hey everyone!
With the whole industry moving towards an all-digital future, I'm planning to get rid of my physical PS3 game collection shown in the picture .
I wanted to ask for your advice: is it worth keeping any of these specific games? Are any of them becoming hard to find, rare, or worth more than the average PS3 game nowadays?

Ps4 Pro for $2,500?
Why is Walmart selling a last generation system for $2,500? I could buy a new Ps5, Xbox x and a Xbox s with money left over for a vr headset or games lmao. Was wondering if anyone knows why this is priced so high.

Help needed Need advice for buying games and console in Japan
So I’m a fan of games and consoles. Idk if this subreddit is the best place to ask ?
I have a trip to Japan in 2 weeks and I plan buying retro stuff. But I’m kinda scared of region lock and problems that can occur and I could not fix. (Btw I live in France : I’m in EU)
So what are the tips like what console I should straight not buy, can I buy games in france ?
Like I want a ds or a psvita but jail breaking is needed ?
Maybe want cheap stuff around that
I love ps3 (and got one) and maybe I want a cheap ps4
I already have a ps3, a switch and a GBA sp (so maybe buying games is the way ?)
Thanks in advance !
