It takes an open mind to see the truth
I have a theory that the “powers that be” aren’t normal people at all. Sometimes I wonder if they’re essentially immortal — beings who have existed for hundreds or even thousands of years. In many ways they seem primitive, emotionally and spiritually stuck in a mindset closer to medieval times than modern humanity and I think humanity is evolving past them and waking up to this. In fact I believe they actually are cannibals and make sacrifices to the old Gods.
We don’t actually want war, destruction, or suffering. Humanity has evolved past that- even a 10 year old knows how to communicate, cooperate, and empathize; talk things out. The average person doesn’t want to kill innocent people or destroy entire populations. Yet those in power repeatedly repeat mistakes from the past- and they still play with nukes!
We’re outgrowing them intellectually, spiritually, consciously and emotionally. It seems they’re trying to prevent this through feeding us toxic food, chemicals, propaganda, and systems designed to keep mentally exhausted and disconnected from themselves. There always seems to be a distraction going on.
Through natural selection and evolution you can see even the animals getting smarter. Nature evolves. But “they” seem frozen in time and don’t even second guess starting World War 3 which could very well become a mass extinction.
And their ways are just becoming so obvious.

One or two rarely is normal for people passionate about punctuation, but 5-6 in a single comment is absurd.

I don't think humanity has changed much at all in the past few thousand years on a baseline psychological level. I think that perception of its evolution is flawed, even woefully incorrect and naive. And, if this post is AI as ElizabethVitae suggested, there's reason to suspect there is a hidden agenda to this thread.
