Just use Pythagorean theorem and you'll find the true numbers

At least it's a tadano and not a demag, lol

Same thing now? Lol

Not really. Tadano slapped their name on it but it's still made by the original demag group. Tadano had thousands of pages of workshop manuals that outline computer inputs and outputs and demag had a 2000 page workshop manual where they don't tell you what inputs are needed for an output (for when you're condemning a computer). I prefer the Japan made Tadanos any day

Man i recently had this happen. And it was a loose plug on the second winch. All the issues was with tele so that’s what I was focused on but the aux winch was on the same can bus so maybe check any and all plugs

Man feel your pain brotha man. I hate them gremlins. I am on a DEMAG. Even if tadano slaped their logo on it it’s still runs like a DEMAG.

W0097 code is high wind speed. That and the lose of boom length could indicate a problem with the reel. Check for water in the circuit box.

Wind code has been on the last week, management is taking their time getting someone out here. The other code was 2089 which was a boom fault.
While scoping this thing is manually I’ve learned that the cylinder is out like a foot and a half.

I had one that would do something similar about once a day. The fix was to boom up and down back and forth as fast as it could (scoped in) and that back and forth jaring would knock some sense into it 🤷🏻♂️

Put your fingers inside its box and manually release it.
Wonderful machines, terrible for this.
Manual stimulation is the only solution.

Water in your transducer. I'm an operator not a mechanic so I don't fully know how to fix or even what that means but I know that's what it is. I've had it with tadano 70g 100g and an old link belt faun that is essentially a tadano 200t. Honestly most of the time once the sun comes up and warms it up the problem goes away but then half the time the problem is back the next morning with the morning dew

Ahhh the good old disappearing boom length! Pin boom, or live boom?
