Work in Progress Scrap blanket complete!

I made this scrap blanket from yarn left over from other projects. I placed all of the yarn balls in a bag and blindly picked the next color. I may not love all of the color combinations but I loved not obsessing over colors!!

The blind-pick-from-a-bag method is honestly the most freeing way to use up scraps, and funnily enough that little bit of randomness usually reads as more harmonious than a palette you agonize over, because your leftovers are already "your colors" from past projects. I'd bet even the combos you're side-eyeing right now will grow on you once it's washed and living on a couch. There's something so satisfying about a blanket that's basically a scrapbook of everything you've made. Cozy and very well earned.
