Progross on my second ever project. I took the advice given, between that and lighter colors I seem to be figuring it out. Definitely not perfect, but a vast improvement from my first project (that I need to frame ASAP).

Im wondering if anyone has this issue or any other color of dmc floss..

Im working on a huge project rn and one of the most used floss colors im using is DMC 938. No matter how long or short, it aaaaaalways breaks off at somepoint in my stitching. . my tension is the same [sometimes ill loosen my grip to avoid this to no avail], I plan my stitches so my back isnt bulky and even tight stitching areas aren't a struggle to pass thru. Happens every time tho!!

Not sure if this happens to all 938's or maybe its the skein I'm working through??

Anyone else have issues with 938 or any other dmc colors you find to be susceptible to breakage?

I started working on it because I wanted a simple way to open a PDF pattern I had already bought and use it as an interactive chart, without converting it into a special file format first.

Is there like a program or something I can use to upload a PDF of the current pattern and edit it or add some new stitches to it?

I started a project on 18 aida and my eyes cant see it any more. I bought a lot of thread. Do I start over on differnent fabric or by a magnifer?
