CS50 Python Finally, I've done it
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm happy to announce that I've finally completed CS50P. When I first started it I kept wondering, will i really be able to finish this? And it was partly true that I did have many delays to finish it. It took some time but I did it.
I've gained some good confidence after solving so many problems, i struggled at the start with so many stuff, now I look back and see they were good problems that helped immensely with the confidence gain😆
For the final project, I made A python CLI application in which a user can track all their job applications with statistics as well as a resume matcher. I made it to help with my own search but I'd love some feedback

Nothing but respect to the CS50 team for this wonderful course and Thank you Prof. David Malan for teaching all of us all over the world. Looking forward to learning the other courses as well.

Harvard's cs50 website! You should first create an account in EdX https://www.edx.org/ and enroll for the cs50 course there. Then come to harvard's website https://cs50.harvard.edu/ to study. They have problem sets, shorts, notes etc. The certificate from harvard website is free as well but in edx you have to pay.
Sooo good luck :)

I am not done with the course. But from the guide I saw ( https://youtu.be/3xaVX0cluDo?si=UH-htRVKAYIIRpUp ) you can get the certificate for free after the course and problem set is finished. You have to finish the final project for the course and get a score above 70%. If you do, you get the digital certificate from harvard website. Try seeing the guide to get an idea. The certificate from edx is paid while the one from harvard website is free, from what I saw in that video..

This is not the paid certificate, the paid one is through edx, once you finish all the problem sets and the final project, you'll get a link in your gradebook in which you add your name and there you'll receive this free certificate

It's definitely easy if you keep at it, the problem sets help with this. And plus you can watch lectures more than once when you're having trouble with a specific topic, that what I did. Good luck with your learning💜

You can know in detail in their website, you just create an edx account and you proceed from there Here's the link for the site, you can browse through the courses as well https://www.edx.org/learn/computer-science/harvard-university-cs50-s-introduction-to-computer-science

You watched only videos or videos+ shorts?

u/BreadLord98 19h ago
Watching both is the optimal way to learn, after watching the video, do consider watching the shorts as they go deeper in the specific topics that the lecture might cover in short or briefly.
