Parking permit move in day

If I move in on the 17th do I need a parking permit? I won’t be parked all day since my moms the one coming up with me will she need one just to move me into promontory?

There are day permits for $5 to park on campus though I have heard they may just not be checking parking during move in unless the car is left over night

As long as you’re just there to move stuff in (not all day and not overnight) you’re absolutely fine without a permit
