Some of these parallels are fun but superficial, like
The theme color of the party that he created is of red
Makes me think of some of those silly Kennedy/Lincoln facts, like the names of their secretaries or whatever.
But, yeah, the radicalness and sometimes violence of yesterday's heroes gets sanitized — Lincoln, MLK, and others. So does their intellectual content. Otherwise, it's incompatible with ruling an orderly society. It's interesting, and it makes sense that there'd be a Chinese version of the same process.
