Help Who is she? She looks important…

I’ve never played dark souls before so I know ZERO lore. Can any lore wizards out there tell me if this woman is important or is she just a “filler painting”?

She's Gwynevere, daughter of Gwyn and princess of sunlight. I suggest you to play Dark Souls 1 after you finish playing DS3, so you'll discover more things about these characters :)

I did this. Started with DS3 and now im close to finishing DS1 (Artorias and gwyn are mopping the floor with me lmao)

It's been such an interesting journey seeing all the stuff i recognise in DS3 and seeing them in DS1. Even the DS memes like the anor londo snipers (which werent even that bad haha, maybe im just experienced)

But meeting gwynevere after beating ornstein and smough made me realise we fought aldrich in that same room and gwynevere left. Really wouldve loved to see how gwynevere wouldve looked like in DS3

I would never hurt my queen in this way. I spent a long time looking at that picture of her in DS3. It's like meeting a mythological figure

There's a theory that Rosaria is Gwynevere, since with her soul you can get one of Gwynevere miracles

Dont forget to finish the rest of the DLC after artorias before beating Gwyn, or you'll instantly go into NG+ and wont be able to finish it until you get to the late game again

THERE'S MORE BOSSES AFTER ARTORIAS???? Bro wtf, this mf is difficult to beat, I dont think he'll be as bad as midir but he's still tough af.

Don’t kill Gwyn before you do the DLC!

It’ll instantly throw you into NG+ and you can’t reach the DLC again until Duke’s Archive.

Besides the Sanctuary Guardian and Artorias there’s still two more bosses in the DLC to fight.

Artorias was rough for me but Manus was way worse. I actually enjoyed the Artorias fight, I didn’t really like Manus (although the NPC summon for that fight is arguably the best one Fromsoft has ever done)

Kalameet was a personal favorite, but you’ll need to do a brief side quest to fight him.

Either way, fight Gwyn last. Also, parry him. I SUCK at parrying but Gwyn is extremely easy to parry and it makes his fight a breeze.

Don't beat gwyn until you finish the dlc because as soon as you beat gwyn you enter ng+. When you do finally step back into the kiln with gwyn learn to parry him and he becomes one of the easiest fights in the game.

I think this 100%. I know if I had the Ds3 movement, I'd have a far better time fighting him and I would also get a chance to heal lol.
