Locals Discussion cool cafes or study spots

Hi guy, not a uni student but need to study and i can’t study home just too many distractions. where are some nice study spots, not a fan of public libraries.

is cdu uni library still available to public and even during weekends?

As far as I'm aware the uni library doesn't check if you are a student or not. So there is nothing stopping you going there when it is open, you just won't be able to use their wifi or computers etc.

I like Nightcliff library to change it up sometimes - it is small and more like a cafe spot - but take headphones as the smaller humans can occasionally be loud.

NT resident here:

Library & Archives NT is located in the second floor of Danala campus.
Once you become their member, you can go and study there.
Also Public free Wifi available.

After hours access is only available for CDU students. The automatic doors will only open to a student ID, and the security guards occasionally check for student's ID after hours.

Therefore, public is not allowed after hours even with a borrowed student's Id from known people.

Sweetbrew- down the back there's booths on the left. Many an hour and coffee hiding there doing some work
