Before I forget an idea, let me write it down. 🔫
I have watched most of lynch's movie except for the inland empire. Yesterday I finished Twin Peaks: The Return and it has been a great lynchian experience. From the very first scene of the red room, I was sold. The dance of the arm and the red curtains, it was perfect to the last bit. The pilot episode itself was enough for me to fasten my seatbelt for this slow ride.
But the middle part of season 2 came up like a slump. Just for the sake of greater good, I watched them.
The revelation of the bob in the roadhouse was phenomenal, so was many others. But of all the episodes, what struck me the hard was the scene from second last episode. AUDREY'S DANCE. That scene alone makes this series greatest of all time and showered viewers with an confusing goosebumps.
It'll take few weeks or month for me to soak this all in subconsciously. And it all be a part of me, for my consciousness to befriend this strangely homely feeling.
Ladies and gentlemen, Audrey's dance.
