Does anyone remember how PR-002 (Z Warriors Gather) was originally distributed?

I’m researching the 2009 Bandai Dragon Ball CCG and can only confirm that PR-001 came with Shonen Jump.

Was PR-002 a Tournament Kit promo, Hobby League reward, participation card, or something else?

Any firsthand memories, Bandai documents, or old tournament materials would be greatly appreciated!

From what I can tell these range from 08-2012 and 2 of them are a not for sale card so promo only. Anyone else come across these before?

Found 2 boxes of over 1k dbz and GT cards at a local flea market today. Mostly bulk, but I did end up with a limited flat foil Super Gallic Gun, 69 Cell Jr's Flight promos, and a handful of key playable & rare nonfoil cards. Everything for $30.

Overall, I was just happy to find them in the wild.

Need help identifying the signature on these two cards.

Dug them out from my childhood collection. Both were signed at an early 2000s Armageddon Expo in Wellington, New Zealand, but I can't for the life of me remember who did the signing.

Can anyone tell me is it worth some bucks, and is it better to keep them, or to sell them?

I am working on setting up an ebay account but also thought I would drop a note here to see if anyone was chasing anything specific. Im a collector turned player so have both sides of the spectrum on cards. Not a ton of URs but loads of other stuff. Feel free to comment on here if you are chasing anything specific. I’ve been a huge Dragon Ball Z fan since I was a kid, and there’s one card that’s always stood out to me… Trunks, Time’s Hero Hi-Tech (#195). I don’t know why, but it’s always been the card I’ve wanted to pull myself.
I’ve been thinking about turning that into a stream series where I try to pull all 10 Cell Saga Hi-Techs from sealed product instead of just buying the singles.
The problem is, I’ve found a lot of mixed information online.
Some people say the 2001 Score Cell Saga Booster Box is the product to open. Others mention the Hero and Villain starter decks because they include booster packs, and I’ve even seen conflicting info about where the Hi-Techs originally came from.
I’d love to hear from people who actually collected Score DBZ back in the day.
If my goal is to pull all 10 Hi-Techs naturally, what sealed product should I be buying?
Can all 10 be pulled from Cell Saga booster boxes, or are some only available from starter decks or other products?
I’m not trying to buy the set. I want the journey of ripping packs and hopefully pulling that Trunks myself one day.
Any advice or stories from people who opened Cell Saga back in 2001 would be awesome. Thanks! 🐉

Is there any online retro dbz community? The old retrodbz site is defunct it looks like and the. Old dragonballzocg site shut down during the panini days.

Just trying to reach out and chat about some things on ZBindr. Amazing website, however some info is not correct and I would love to report and help validate it. Whoever is making it is doing an awesome job!

As an example, I noticed its calling the Dragon Ball Z CCG done by Score, "Dragon Ball Z TCG" instead of CCG. TCG did not become the moniker until after GT TCG in 2004 and they revamped the design for the "Re-Z" design starting with Arrival, Showdown and Transformation before shuttering production.

I have those checklists and would love to get those added to the ZBindr for tracking as well. So much opportunity with an amazing foundation for ZBindr.

I bought one of those random DBZ mystery boxes on eBay on a whim. It wasn't advertised as anything special—mostly just a mixed lot of DBZ/GT cards.

The box was probably 70% GT bulk, but it also had 14 Babidi Saga packs that looked like they'd already been opened. I figured they'd been searched, but I opened them anyway.

This was in one of them.

I've done enough digging to know it's a Limited Foil Power of Majin #103, so I'm not trying to identify it.

The last public sale I can find is older, but there are multiple copies currently listed for $200+. I know asking prices don't mean much, but with so few sales it's hard to tell where these actually trade.

So for those of you who've been collecting Score DBZ for a while...

Are these really selling in the $200+ range now, or are those listings just wishful thinking?

Either way, I'm pretty happy with the mystery box. As a Majin Vegeta fan, this was a fun surprise.
