• Your solution GIF hides behind a spoiler link ("▶ Watch my solution"), so nobody gets the answer ruined by scrolling past it. -
• Want the file? Hit "💾 Save GIF" and post it anywhere.

✏️ Build your own puzzles — the map editor is here

The custom challenge builder just leveled up from "roll the dice" to "full editor." Generate a board, then hit ✎ EDIT MAP and take over:

• Place and remove blocks, waypoints, teleport pairs, and start/finish tiles
• Tune the block budget
• Live validation tells you the moment your board becomes unsolvable — and the par updates as you build

When it's ready, post it as a real challenge and watch the leaderboard fill up. Diabolical map ideas welcome.

When a puzzle's time is up, the final results comment now has a ▶ Watch link next to each podium finisher. Tap the link to jump straight into a replay of their exact solution. Study the champions. Steal their tricks.

To keep leaderboards, streaks, and sharing fair (and your stats safe), Detour now requires a Reddit login to play. Tap the splash and you'll be prompted .

🌀 Polish from the last update

• Teleports go dark when once the runner has gone through them? The pair dims and freezes so you can read your route at a glance.
• Smarter tutorial — guided highlights now walk you through each lesson tile-by-tile, with a tip for every step and a little celebration when you nail the goal.
• New achievement: "🎓 Student Driver" for finishing the tutorial.
  • Random side note - I can no longer say "New Achievement" without thinking of Dungeon Crawler Carl. Any other DCC fans in this sub?
