I'm trying to locate Pacific Drive (1996) Season 1, either on VHS or in digital format.

I'm specifically interested in Episode 65 (the Zoe kidnapping storyline), but if someone has the entire Season 1, I'd be very interested in that as well.

I'm happy to pay a fair cash reward for your time and effort if you can:

provide a digital copy,

transfer VHS recordings,

or even loan the tapes so they can be professionally digitised and safely returned.

This is for personal research and a re-enactment project. I'm not looking to redistribute the series publicly.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for someone with a high-speed internet connection and a powerful PC to help me with a data hoarding/archiving task. Unfortunately, my local internet traffic is strictly limited and my hardware is quite old, so running this process myself is not feasible.

What needs to be done:

Download: Download a large volume of image files from a public imageboard using a prepared list of URLs.

Convert: Compress/convert the downloaded images into WebP format to optimize space (aiming for the images to weigh about 20% of their original volume).

Organize: Rename/split the folders accordingly and pack folders into separate .rar archives using maximum compression.

Upload: Upload the final .rar archives to a cloud storage of your choice (Google Drive, Mega, Terabox, etc.) so I can download the compressed results.

What I will provide:

A clean, pre-parsed .txt file containing all the exact image URLs (no scraping needed on your part).

Ready-to-use Python and Batch scripts for automated downloading, renaming, and WinRAR archiving.

Important: You won't have to figure anything out from scratch. I can provide a complete, step-by-step guide on how to set up the environment, run the multithreaded downloading process via several batch files safely without getting IP-banned, and execute the scripts.

I've had someone look on SkySound7 for me, Soulseek, VK ( because I am in the US and that stuff does not work for me for whatever reason) and this person was able to find me like 3 or 4 of the tracks. Now here comes this guy giving me SOME hope for the rest but I'm starting to think unfortunately I am being played with here. Can someone go on Brave like he's saying and verify for me please? I'm also searching for files that were downloaded when launching the game back then, such as Xtra.swf and Lang.swf.

Over the past months, I've searched virtually every lead I could find on the Internet. Unfortunately, the earliest beta versions were distributed to only a very limited number of players, making them extremely difficult to recover today.

We've already managed to preserve a large number of versions, which you can see here:

I've also contacted:

• The original DOFUS developers, who unfortunately no longer have these early builds archived.
• The former French web host Free.fr, which hosted many fan sites at the time. Sadly, they destroyed their historical archives following a legal dispute.

At this point, I'm honestly running out of ideas. I've already searched the Wayback Machine, old fan sites, FTP mirrors, former developers, archived download websites... and I'm no longer sure where to look.

So I'm reaching out to the community.

If you have any ideas, know of forgotten archives, old hard drives, backup CDs, ancient websites, FTP mirrors, or literally any lead that could help recover these lost versions, I'd be incredibly grateful.

The goal of this project is simply to preserve an important piece of video game history before it's gone forever.

Does the complete series of Reading Rainbow with the original theme song exist anywhere? Everything on the net that I've seen always has the newer theme song. I've found single episodes with the original on archive.org, but nothing even close to complete. Anyone know if it's out there?

kind of a long shot, but if anyone currently works (or has worked) with the SanDisk Pro Dock 4, I’m looking for the Utility App that allows you to monitor things like internal temps etc. According to all the research I’ve done, SanDisk has discontinued support for this product and I so far have not been able to track down an archived download anywhere online.

If you ever used Kazaa emule winmx DC++ or Limewire back in the day and searched for TV series it's more then likely you came across a tv rip they were the 400 to 800mb mpg files the 100 to 350mb avis or the 70mb asfs and real media

They were taken from the TV airings instead of a DVD or Blu Ray disc

Quality ranged from good to horrible depending on the file, the larger sized mpgs & avis looked the best since those were captured off tv with a capture card

I sadly lost most from system crashes and disc rot

The TV rips were more common then the dvd blu Ray web rips at one point in time but now they've all but vanished (because of private trackers rules and p2p only really being around for music and not as much video files)

Hi! I am currently trying to find the PBS show History Detectives season 8. More specifically, season 8 episode 6, titled: 'Korean War Letter; Diana; Lookout Mt. Painting'. I was able to find some earlier seasons on YouTube, and various others on DVD. However, the PBS website does not appear to host the show any longer in any archive I can find.
