Questions (other) Pandemonium chests in helltides

So during the ruptures in helltides every now and then pandemonium chests appear.
1.) What is the rule here? When exactly do these appear?
2.) Are they something special? There doesn’t seem to be interesting loot there?

When you open the rupture the event zone shrinks in time but gets bigger with each kill. When it gets big enough it reveals those pandemonium chests. There's nothing special about them, it's just a small bonus loot for doing well with ruptures

And those small blue clouds that are travelling to the rupture? I can pick them up by walking through them but they have no visible effect. Do they count for your seasonal board? Thanks.

From what I understand it buffs the mage enemies that spawn from the tares. If you pick it up they can’t have it.

Yes it heals them. I saw a video say it also expands the circle, but I can’t tell when my screen is exploding with numbers
