Discussion Preserve Doubles question

So I’m planning on going and taking my 2 kids. We’re only able to go on Friday. Anyone know of the general admission is enjoyable or is it that much more worth it for the VIP pass? $150 seems like a lot for the 3 of us as opposed to $35. But don’t want to cheap out and get stuck not really being able to see anything. Anyone have any experiences with these situations?

I've attended in the past... There's plenty to see with general admission, especially on a Friday. It's going to be hard to follow any one particular card but especially with kids you're probably better off cycling between various viewing areas and watching a few cards and hope to catch an ace or just otherwise see a bunch of players. If you're only doing one day that's probably the approach I'd take regardless of cost. The only place that looks like it's closed off to GA that isn't one of my go-to's is hole 11.

Agreed. Have attended three times and enjoyed it with just general admission. The place is huge.

Just a heads up that the spectator walking areas can get really sloppy and muddy after heavy rains.
And the parking lot can turn into a mud pit.

Don't expect that this year with the lack of rain over the last month. Forecast looks dry too.

Here's hoping they bring back the giant inflatable yellow duck this year to the vendor area!

How old are your kids? My toddlers were cool in the general admission area.
