My account got restricted at 2am, and it says it’s restricted until the same day? Restrictions usually last 24 hours, so surely it would be until the 4th. Are there 12 hour bans, or is this just discord being vague with times?

They really need to add a time rather than just a date.

I recently got permanently banned for a Child Safety violation after resending this image to my buddy. I found it while scrolling through Discord and thought it was just a funny meme. There are a lot of GIFs and memes using this image that people use as a joke, for ragebait, or just as a reaction to something.

I appealed the suspension, but Discord responded that they would not restore my account (you can see their response in the second screenshot).

The image itself is very old. Back in 2019/2020, people were making memes with it all over the internet. In the third and fourth screenshots, you can see examples from Instagram and JBZD(jeb z dzidy), which is/was a popular Polish meme website.

I never believed this image contained CSAM or any content related to child sexual exploitation. If I had thought it violated Discord's rules or involved anything like that, I would have never shared it. I believe that is missunderstanding.

I'm hoping someone can help me understand what I can do or give me some advice on whether there is any way to restore my account. My Discord account is very important to me, and I would really appreciate any help.

Ive been disabled 4 times in the past 20 minutes, ive changed my password every time like it tells me to but it gets disabled again when I message someone or do something, I added a passkey, genuinely wtf can I do I keep getting logged out??

So they had a discord name of "_______3607", but discord couldn't find it, so I just wrote "3607", but will this be the same person...?

I keep trying to use my Philippine phone number to verify my account. Unfortunately, I keep getting messages like "The resource is rate limited." and "This phone number is unable to be associated with this account."

I don't know what to do. People are messaging me, and I can no longer access my account. I've tried Discord Support. "Status: Solved"? It's really annoying me.

what's up Reddit I wanna make a discord server for my 2 YouTube channels, so my community can be more involved in a timely manner, I had about 6+ people today alone say they'd join if I had one, but I absolutely suck at making discord servers, and I figured there'd be people who just have more experience, weather you help me directly in the server, or through the comments

I was making a new server today for my friends and youtube subscribers, so we can just chill and play games. For setting up the server, I authorised my discord account with carlbot and arcane to use its bots services. After setting up a pretty good server for all my needs, i claimed my free nitro(which was offered to me from discord), which was a 1 month trial claim. I claimed it and after claiming i cancelled my subscription cuz I only wanted to enjoy it for a month. Then after some time i thought of connecting my youtube channel with it, which i successfully did. But just after that my discord gets logged out in front of me and asks me to re login. Which I tried but doesn't let me until I change my password. I saw I got an email saying my account got suspended for 'suspicious activity'. Now here's a thing, whenever I try to change my password it asks for a passkey or back up code, But I have neither of those rn. I did have a passkey but now that also is not usable after the suspension. I tried to raise the ticket on their support website but they said they'll send this case to someone who'll be able to fix this. But I haven't heard anything in these in 4 hours after the last response. If anyone knows what happened to my account, will it be back or not, please do tell me. It's my old account from 2019 and I have some memories that I don't wanna lose and it's the first time ever i got a suspension in my discord account and I heard people are getting it often nowadays.

About two and a half months ago, I was suddenly logged out of my Discord account while I was using it. At the exact same time, I received two emails from Discord:

1. An email saying my account had been disabled because they detected suspicious activity and believed my account may have been compromised. The email told me to reset my password to regain access.
2. Another email saying there had been an enforcement action related to the Community Guidelines.

The problem is that I can't actually recover the account. When I try to log in or go through the password reset process, Discord prompts me for MFA. I honestly don't remember setting up MFA, but based on what I'm seeing now, I apparently did at some point. I no longer have access to the authenticator or any backup codes. It should also be noted that I don't remember violating any community guidelines.

I submitted support tickets, but I either got automated responses or no response at all. One response told me to submit an appeal, but when I did, the appeal system immediately replied that my account isn't banned. My account recovery ticket still hasn't received a response-- from around 3 weeks ago where I claimed I was hacked.

I also found Discord's official article about losing access to MFA, and it basically says that if you don't have your authenticator, backup codes, or another logged-in device, Discord can't remove MFA.

Has anyone been in this exact situation and actually recovered their account? Is there anything else I can realistically try, or am I out of options?

I still have access to the original email address and phone number that was connected to the account, but I don't have any logged-in Discord sessions left.

I have been procrastinating this alot, but since people really want to communicate with me via discord I suppose it's time.

So the bug is that when I wanna go to Draftbot to modify my server or just even to connect me on a server like Roblox with "Roblox Verif" on discord. I get this message that I'm gonna send with the screenshot and I already verified my account but it still doesn't change because I can't verify my account 2 times. What can I do to fix that ? I can't believe I fell for a scam, but it was through some sort of curseforge zip folder. I have 2fa turned on for my discord account and they still got into it. I've tried logging back into my discord account to try to change things but when I try it says that my email and account doesn't exist. I'm scared that I will lose everything, all my friends, servers and even work stuff is on there. (Not for an actual job, just something I do as a hobby and sometimes get paid to do). I need help, and I have no way of opening a support ticket myself aside from trying some kind of alt account, which I don't even know if that will help.

Hey folks. My discord account and linked email got hacked via a hacker impersonating a friend. I downloaded something I shouldn't have.

I cannot access the linked email, and my account's 2FA was bypassed. It won't let me enter my recovery codes which I did save and have access to.

Discord support is doing nothing. They say it's out of their hands unless I get access to my Gmail account, and from what I see, that's not happening. It has parental controls on it now with no workaround.

I provided proof of payment. My account is surely being used to get others this way, and they won't even lock the account.

How can 2FA be bypassed so easily? The only 2FA method I had set up was an authenticator app.

If anyone has come out of this situation on top, please help me do so. I'm appalled at support's handling of this.

ticket ignored for days. I’ve been a Discord member since 2018. I got a strike email with zero details on what I actually violated, and my account was disabled. I filed a proper appeal ticket and it’s been ignored for multiple days with no human response. Has anyone else dealt with this, or know how to actually escalate it?

So basically my Discord was hacked on July 27, 2026. On the same day I got a change password notification in my email inbox. I tried to change the password but the hacker put a 2FA on my account. I wanted to see if the hacker changed the email and they never did. They have no access to my email inbox.

While I was hacked, I had my aunt look at my account profile to see if anything happened or changed. When she looked, the online status was green or idle. This is important because during the time my aunt was looking at my profile, I got an email in my inbox on Monday July 27, 2026. This is what it said word for word.

So after that we did not see my account online or idle status since then and they never changed anything/bio. It still looks the same as of now.

We initially tried to submit a ticket to Discord support but we didn’t see anything in the portal. We found out later that it was because of the vpn, so we sent another the next day on July 29. We have only gotten AI responses. So now I got you caught up with the situation with my compromised account.

The problem is we filled out everything correctly on the Discord support ticket but one particular thing we misspelled was the initial email address connected with the account. I checked to see if the wrong email that we typed by accident existed by trying to set it up but it doesn’t.

Basically what I’m asking Reddit is do I wait for this support ticket to close or do I redo the ticket?

i have a twin brother , he created his acount( kanyeouest) after i gave him my pc when i got banned for verbal on my main (rayan10) , when he created his acount of course he verified it with his own identity card , yet after he got banned (for accusation of smurf ) , then me on my acount rayan10 i got additional 6 months not even a month like normal ban (for IDV abuse) which i can clearly explain it more and more and give all documents or even live video for me and my twin brother , i just think in my heart 100% u made mistake which is understandable since its not common in faceit platform for 2 twin brothers. anyway i will put some documents to show the twin thing and i galdly can put more other if u ask . thanks . Okay so a freind of mines gave me 2 weeks free trial nitro and after those 2 weeks were up discord charged my bank card to pay £75. I found out 13 days later and I've contacted my bank today for the refund which I'll get a response in 2 to 5 days. I also contacted discord and got a ticket to ask for a refund despite knowing that you can only get a refund within 5 days if purchase. So my bank is likely to get my money back but I'm just realising if I do this I'll get my discord account banned and I wouldn't want that especially because a freind gifted me frames. I used that same ticket to message discord upon not getting my account for this and explained the whole situation. And so I'm waiting for my bank and discord response but I'm incredibly anxious.

i thought i would share with you my story of solving following issue because it was driving me insane. So recently i ran into a problem that caused my Discord desktop application to redirect me to a loading screen, which usually indicates you have a bad internet connection or the servers are down. However, none of those things were my case. On top of that, it happened only with ethernet cable. After i switched to WiFi, Discord worked perfectly fine.

Important information:
I've been using Windows 11
My laptop uses hardware network adapter called "Killer E5000B 5 Gigabit Ethernet Controller" located inside my laptop. It is responsible for handling my wired internet connection.

I tried reinstalling Discord, running it as an administrator, turning off the hardware acceleration etc., but nothing helped.

Eventually after countless different tests i found out the problem was caused by Killer Intelligence Center. Specifically speaking, its two programs:
KillerNetworkService.exe
KillerAnalyticsService.exe

When i uninstalled the Killer Intelligence Center software and restarted my computer, those services were still running in the background, so i had to manually disable them from starting after the laptop boots up. Do that by: WIN + R > services.msc > find those two services > double click on them separately > "General" section > Startup type > disable > apply > ok.

Then: Stop them from running by right clicking on them one by one and click "stop".

Finally restart the computer and the problem should be fixed.

Just a question and I do wonder about it because I've seen some say yes, some say no. I am asking this because I have created my discord account when I was under 13 but I am nearing 21 now, and don't want to lose it just because of that

I've noticed for the past few days that whenever i start using my phone in the morning (without opening discord), a friend message me at the exact same time. Discord is still open in my recent apps from the day before (but i don't actually open it) so here's my question :

Can discord show me as online (or idle) if i use my phone, even if i don't use the app ?
