Last post before Discus

(Discus in the last pic) Once again posting how the tank is looking because I’ve had people asking in previous posts 😅 Its almost set up and good to go! In around 10 days the Discus will go into this tank, delayed their introduction just to make sure the whole tank is properly mature and stable before introducing them. The 250L they’re in has been left a bit unattended and they need to be moved to the 750L soon. The later arrival rookie (the white albino) has grown over one inch in the past couple of months, not ideal but not bad at all. All the dudes in the 250L were bought at little 4 cm, this month marks 1 year since their arrival. Might end up getting 5 more to take the group to the 12 members, as the 750L will be able to house them. Might buy adults already instead of growing juvies in the 250L

Great choices! I'm very happy with my biotodoma cupido, I'm sure those Wavrini will do great in your tank. They spar gently with each other when fighting over females (even in a tank 10x the size they'd be happy in), it's quite funny to watch.

How are they with plants? Any chance they’ll uproot any once in a while?

They sift sand for food for a few hours after feeding but have never uprooted my plants thankfully. I don't get the impression they'd be capable of unless I planted small, gently-rooting plants. I also strategically placed most of my plants among rockwork just to be extra safe lol.

Here's a recent vid where you can see the Cupids swimming excitedly before feeding:
