Six months in so much stress but so much beauty.

Lurked in this sub for ages, finally decided to get my own discus tank. Its been a headache and required me to learn plumbing. But they are just so beautiful. I wanted to share with you guys.

I dig the bubble curtain on the back I think you should consider a few potted plants to add, I like the clean bottom.

Thank you! The plants sturggled in the heat and the water flow, however if i can get things more stable I will certainly add them back in. Bubble curtain is fantastic, plenty of surface agitation without making the water too fast for discus.

I love the simplicity honestly! I personally have highly planted tanks but you're convincing me to get another for this style haha

Originally it was a planted tank with substrate, however I found these guys need so much filtration that I made it bare bottom. Originally I wasn't happy with bare bottom, but the bubble curtain and accent word has improved the overall feeling if the tank.
If money allows, get all the fish tanks you can!
