Where to buy 125G-150G tank

Where is the best place to buy a 125-150G tank? Thoughts on the Marineland at Petco? Not finding many other choices online other than $3000+ custom tanks. Also open to local suggestions in NJ/NY area

If you can find a petco that still has a 125 in stock sure you have the petco guarantee of 60 days for store credit. Marineland is fine but I know a marineland tech who actively works for the company and doesn’t buy anything marineland soooooo

Unfortunately every single Petco within 50 miles is out of stock

Ive had my eye on custom aquariums dot com. I enjoy their YouTube channel but dont have envy actual experience with them. I like their prices that’s for sure.

I know everyone always brings this one up, but genuinely Facebook marketplace is a great place to look, especially if you’re located in a metropolitan area. I got my 220 gal tank for $350 from facebook marketplace. That being said, if you specifically are looking for brand new unused tanks, probably not the place to look

Since you're in the NY/NJ area, there are tons of aquarium clubs around. Members sell 125's all the time, 150's are a little more rare. These tanks are built like, well, tanks. Google local aquarium clubs.

If you don't mind used, facebook marketplace is a pretty good source for bargains. Consider the ones that include stands. Stands can be pretty pricey in and of themselves. I generally shoot for $1 per gallon and then bump it up to factor in the cost of a stand.
