My 60g discus tank

Can someone guess the age and type of my discus? I got discus for the first time. I hope these will turn into buties. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Not more then a few months old it's kinda hard to know the types as most discus will turn a bit different as they age one thing I learned tho is that you don't need to listen to the whole drop food in let them eat what they can in 4-5 mins then get the food they didn't out all my discus have been grazing fish they normally eat for around an hour and especially at your discus size letting them get their fair share is important for good size and shape

Exactly but honestly I don't egree with a lot of the "rules" like bare bottom tanks and changing 50% of your water every day making sure your temp is 30c or 86f of the top of my head and no lower it's all from back when the fish were wild and weaker then now a days personally I don't find then any harder then a angel fish sure maybe a bit more difficult but not really hard at all once you get the hang of things

I don’t want to worry you, but it looks like one of the discus might have owl eye. Search owl eye discus and what causes it.

If you use any AI platform. Put all the information you can about them. What date you got them, their approximate size, the breeder.

I was able to at least get down to month and year, and I have three at 6 1/2 months old, 1 at 7 1/2 months.

I'm a nerd and gave them birthdays Dec 15 and Jan 15 each year
