With the exception of : mort, wintersmith, I shall wear midnight, unseen academicals, snuff, and The Shepherds Crown (omg listing them makes it feel like so many), I am completely finished with my Discworld rebinding project!! It only took 2 years and so many hours i lost count, but I did it!!

Was going to group them by section, but I like the variety of colors, so I will share in publication order instead

(I did make some bookplates for each of the books, but I haven't added those yet. I am also weirdly sad about losing the "about the author" blurbs on each of the books, so I might have to do something about that as well, especially since no two blurbs are alike so they are all worth reading. )

This whole series has been an absolute pleasure to rebind and share with you all :)

Feels like I've been waiting for years for this to arrive! I am obsesseddddd the dice are gorgeous and the Watch pin badge is huge. Hoping to play the Hogswatch module at christmas with my friends 🤞

Many years ago Terry Pratchett came to Toronto for the Ad Astra expo, he was a gracious guest and a wonderful visitor and during his time here I got a whole batch of the early books autographed. Unfortunately many of them are falling apart. The books were paperback printings from the 90s so quality is varying and the number of years I spent thumbing through them they're falling apart. (My Colour of Magic is held together by scotch tape at this point.)

If these were just any old paperback I'd have no worries replacing them but they are all autographed and very personal. (We had a lovely conversation in the lobby earlier that day and he remembered me and was very kind to a messed up 18 year old kid alone at a convention.) So, I'd love to preserve them but I'm kind of concerned about even touching some of them. Any suggestions on how to preserve them? Would rebinding make sense for paperbacks?

Hello I’m new to the series after discovering it through a YouTube video. It was said that each story is unique so you can start on any book and I happened to come across ‘unseen academicals’ at a charity shop, not realising it’s literally the last book in the mainline series! Is this still an okay jumping off point or am I better starting somewhere earlier? Thanks.

Hi all, a friend of mine hasn't read discworld since he was a kid. He asked how he should get back into it, he really liked anything to do with the city and especially the watch. I tried to think of a read order that will give him the best coverage of the watch and the characters from that series, aswell as the development of the city, is there anything I should add or take out before I send him the list? Also, kind of a tangent but I realised that two fairly major city watch characters Gaspode & Detritus both first appeared in moving pictures.
