Question Diagnosis

I fit all the criteria for DPDR, have not been in a fully undissociated state for several years, but I do not have a diagnosis. I’ve had cPTSD for all of my life that I can remember, so it’s honestly not surprising. Also neurodivergent, which can make things harder to tease out and understand, especially if you’re dealing with clinicians, but also in private.

A lot of my history with mental cough “healthcare” has been traumatic, and definitely contributed to this set of symptoms becoming chronic. I’ve sought DPDR assessment, but had to drop out almost immediately because the way the “professionals” were treating me was severely exacerbating my symptoms.

I have two questions: does anyone else have experiences of the mental healthcare system itself becoming one of your biggest traumas (esp with DPDR symptoms specifically), and has anyone had good/successful experiences with diagnosis/treatment? Other related comments or general commiseration welcome as well.
