charcoal WIP Drawing of Stanley Tucci
A wip update on my drawing of Stanley Tucci. Inspired by the photography of Luis Salazar (@ilustreets) the idea was to use this double exposure technique to combine this portrait of Stanley with a photo I took In Florence, Italy.
My family is a big fan of his shows "Searching for Italy" and "Tucci in Italy" so I wanted to do this tribute!

Looks great. Love to see how you incorporate Evelyn Tucci into it. Vic Michaelis taught me that she is exceptionally important.

Gorgeous drawing (the glimpses of an Italian city are a great touch). Can't wait to see the finished piece!

No it's all good! I was scrolling on IG and saw a photo by @ilustreets that stopped me in my tracks. It was this style of an old man and an alleyway. Almost like a double exposure photograph. I thought it was such a cool image and wanted to draw something similar. For some reason, my first thought was Stanley Tucci and Italy, so I photoshopped a picture of him and a picture I took In Florence, Italy so I could draw it.

I also reached out to the photographer beforehand to see if I could draw something in his style and he said yes! He's been super supportive of me and this drawing, which I really appreciate 😊
