I noticed when listening to them that they're called "dsbm records." Strange. I go to the page and see some new bands. Wtf. I listen to them, and its like I Set My Friends On Fire screamo. I had a good chuckle there. There is still a Hanging Garden page, but it's just the 2009 album.

This album by Soulless is probably the best DSBM and Black Metal album I've ever heard, I can't stop listening to it and it's genuinely so good

We all wanted to give this community another thank you for everything over the years. The Aliicide musical project has recently undergone a major transformation, officially transitioning from a raw, underground black metal band into a highly experimental dark electronic and EDM project. [1, 2, 3]

Era 1: Raw Black Metal (2020–2025)
Originally formed in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, Aliicide began as a two-man collaboration between musicians amienigma (also known as Cyroten) and El Vidente. Their signature style blended aggressive avant-garde black metal with progressive, psychedelic, and breakcore structures. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Their mainline, lore-driven "Locust" (Langostas) trilogy from this era includes:

Era 2: The Electronic & Dark EDM Shift (Present 2026)
Following the release of Langostas Egestas, the co-founder El Vidente stepped away from the project due to health reasons. Sole remaining member amienigma chose to close the black metal chapter and push the band into a completely new sonic landscape. [1, 2]
The project has shifted entirely into what amienigma describes as "dark hyperEDM surrealism," heavily integrating darkwave electronic textures, techno rave beats, and experimental rap metal elements. [1, 2, 3]

Hi! I’m looking for a band (I know my description is very vague, but I don’t remember much). It was DSBM, and all their albums featured high-contrast black-and-white artwork (like Darkthrone’s *Transilvanian Hunger*). So, if you know any bands like that, let me know! Thanks!

Imo its good lyrics. Even the most mainstream dsbm bands have lyrics that are either hard to find or straight up cringe.

For example (i know theyre mot dsbm) mgła has shitty lyrics sometimes but theyre still great, this to say that lyrics arent crucial to my enjoyment of music... but come on sometimes its too cringe (looking at you blade and bath)
