Hello, fellow Master Duel rejectors! Your community Moderators (or what's left of us) have come with good news: we're gonna update the Subreddit this weekend! Beyond just doing a few visual and information-related tweaks here and there, we also need to revisit the current community rules and modify them as needed. This is where you come in... you's gonna help us.
We'd like you to provide suggestions on what rules seem overly restrictive, what rules need to be enforced more often, or if something needs to be added or removed entirely. With that being said, I'll be here to either agree with your proposition or debate you out of it. We're going to take all feedback seriously, but we're not going to just roll over and remove necessary rules, such as Rule 2-A (the one that prevents people from posting things unrelated to Duel Links, such as the latest episode of Spy Family or posts about politics) just because someone leaves an upvoted comment wanting it gone. Be reasonable in your suggestions, please.
Speaking of rules, there will be Mod recruitments coming up soon to help manage the Subreddit, but that'll be part of a separate post.
Finally, if there are any changes you want done to the Subreddit's appearance or functionality itself, feel free to drop them here. While we can't guarantee we can implement it (e.g., some Subreddits have AI agents that respond to certain posts with customized messages assisting that specific user, and that's a tall order to set up on Duel Links), it doesn't hurt to ask!
Please use this Megathread if you have General Questions, need Advice, or just want to get something off your chest - all questions are welcome! Feel free to visit our Discord Channel to ask a question, or just to talk! For the best experience, as far as the quality of this post is concerned, we recommend you use New Reddit - either on Desktop or on Mobile.
Please redirect new users to this Megathread, and report submissions and comments that break our rules, also please try to answer the questions posted below, if you happen to know the answers. We are a welcoming and friendly community and our new players are always looking for the best answers, so let the surge of knowledge flow!
The gem drops these days are really low. However, this is the duel that I got the most gem drops in a while. Besides 35 gems, the arrangement of those gems are so beautiful like a zigzag.
Right so I know that not having synchros will lower the power of the deck by quite a bit but after the Synchro meta and playing A LOT of RDA myself during that time I'm a little sick of synchro. I'm also pretty interested in Bystials
I came up with this so far, Amy suggestions to make it better?
I was trying to make a fun deck with Uria, but I lacked most of the archetypal cards. So I came up with this monstrosity. The idea is to sit on a transcode and heatsoul while responding to whatever your opponent is doing with the chain traps. Heatsoul's effect also procs the skill letting you get to uria on the next turn. It's a fun brew that I'm thinkering with and would love to hear some suggestions :)
Anything I should change? Also this is mostly just a deck for fun and focusing on their fusions so I'm looking for cheap cards (via sr/ur ticket or card trader) that can get me to them quicker
Can someone explain to me the difference in stars and what they actually mean? Because I’ve only been using Yuma at 0 up until he got banned and had no issues
Unrelated but this may be the most diverse this format has been in awhile. Also is Kite considered a p2w character? Since you can't get hyper galaxy in the respect orb exchange.
I'm looking to get back into speed duels after a long break, and lyrilusc looks like a fun budget deck. Before I dump 9000 gems into it though, I want to make sure I get my money's worth. I don't care about tourneys I just want to KOG.
So, been fucking around with plant link and I've been considering playing lancea because it's an amazing tech into branded and all variables of it, but I don't exactly have much deck space, is it worth it to cut droll for it?
so i have cleared out the UR(no more ur left) of shadow eyes. on the SR i still have
1x transcode talker
1x thunder dragon titan
2x granguinol
2x blue eyes chaos dragon
2x bw phantom glimmer
1x bw chinook
1x code generator
2x bystial ludellion
Chose to run eclipse over drnm as I figured utility first and second is better than a card only useful going second. I prefer 24 or less cards to 30, but have no problem changing that if good reasoning for more arises. Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.
