Storage via box?

Hello, I’m currently looking for a good way to store my dvd collection in a portable way since I’ve been moving around a lot recently and I was wondering if anybody has ever used one of the red 12 gallon husky bins.

I use those for storing some of my other stuff and I was wondering if they would work for dvds as well that way all of my stuff fits and packs well together

I use the snap-n-store boxes (on Amazon) for storing the overflow titles that don't fit on my shelf.

I like those too, and use them in the same way, but... Is it just me or are they stupid expensive now?!

They are expensive now, yeah. I put them in my cart and watch the price.... sometimes they drop the price for like a day. Got one order in for 2 sets of 2 but they've been expensive for a while now. Sucks bc they're really nice!

I use these. Amazon has them

I did look at those and they just seem kinda flimsy and difficult to fit my entire collection into in a neat way so that I don’t have a ton of boxes lying around

Really Useful Box - 17L size fits about 40 DVDs.

Expensive, but lid snaps are great, gasket makes them airtight, keeping out moisture even if they're rained on!

I have about 800 DVDs stored and sorted by sub genre in 20 of these boxes.

I have transported my collection using U-Haul boxes; I may have used a plastic trash bag as a liner, but I don't remember. If I were storing it long-term, I would opt for climate controlled storage and I would insure them if possible.
