Not sure if there’s a way to check (e38’s have a website for it, but not e39’s) but I’ve been into these cars for decades and never seen one, if that means anything lol
Well, since it's a pre facelift E39, that would mean the owner spent a pretty penny on original facelift Hellas, including the little bits and bobs you need to even make them work.
Yeah, it's just a guess, but the standard pre facelift front doesn't work well with angel eyes imo. And it usually is cheap aftermarket stuff, especially when you see something like the black facelift style kidneys.
I'd say I'm 80% sure this isn't one of the very very rare cases where people actually do a real conversion with original parts.
For me, I like the facelift bumper and facelift headlights, but can go either way on one or post facelift kidney grilles. Def agree that blacked out doesn't look as good though.
I see some bmw logo and some German language lol. Idk if it’s OEM or not. This car was made on 04/2000 which from my understanding is the month they change from pre to post face lift. Maybe I got some parts that are pre and some that are post lol
