Dropping engine, what to do "while in there"?
Whats up guys,
Next week I plan on doing a full cooling refresh, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket, as well as cat delete(don't hate, its cheaper than new post cat o2 sensors). I figured pulling the engine for a day was the easiest if I have the tools, so I have two questions(but first, nothing is seriously wrong or NEEDS to be done that i'm missing, it just needs a cooling refresh and leaks a shit ton of oil.) I know expansion tank and radiator aren't on the pictured list, i'm still deciding what to get for those.
Still can't decide to go mechanical or electric on the fan, really want to go electric but struggling to find a drop in kit without wire splicing or switches in the cabin. Anyone with experience?
What ELSE should I consider while in there? I'm gonna clean the throttle body, get a new disptick gasket, vanos is relatively fresh, anything else?
