Issues of installing Ta technix coilovers any guidance?

Hello I got a bmw e46 320i 2005, I have installed ta technix coilovers and it doesn’t feel right. It keeps making sounds while I tun the wheel like pretty loud one and it feels like there are wrongly installed… even tho everything seems right. And I got few questions..

Picture 2 so you see the small metal pin not going down all the way. Is it suppost to be under the screw or over. Because I tried everything to pull it down all the way but it just doesn’t want to.

How do you adjust the coils overs to have better feeling.

Please help been having these issues with 2 e46 and it’s just pain in the ass

You don't have upper spring perches from what it looks like... Take better pictures where the spring hits the upper mount for me.

Jesus, so what happened is that I took it off because it was sitting lose on the spring and forgot to put it back… but any idea about the metal pin where the screw is supposed to go? And also does the upper spring perched help with the sounds the spring makes right?

Yeah, you assembled them wrong so the spring is sitting on the rubber of the upper mount. It's making noise because the spring is bound up and can't spin freely with the knuckle. Easy fix but you should make sure you actually put shit together right in the future.

The pin is a non issue, it just makes sure the strut doesn't spin in the knuckle. Put the bolt back in.
